@420PATROCK You're fooling yourself ,if you think that even if he was elected and Obama was ousted, that something will change in Washington. Just get uninvolved in politics. It's a political paradise. Then, you will realize America has turned against the Founding Father's dream and turned into an oligarchy ruled by the elite for the elite.
People's poor grammar and sloppy misuse of the English language bothers me as well ! I just don't see who it serves to make people muddle through your scattered and poorly crafted thoughts. Are people in such a fucking hurry, these days, that they're FORCED to represent themselves like dolts? Sorry, I'm with the "grammar troll."
@sickboylegend You complain about his spelling and yet you don't use proper grammar and you didn't even finish your sentence. He's being nostalgic, for good reason, and you come along here trying to troll/grammar nazi and you fail. Please leave people to their own devices and GTFO.

Welcome to the Grand Illusion!! As a fan of metal I might be one of the few fans of Styx. I love all their old stuff and anyone who doesn't F#$K off!!
As good as any of their contemporaries including Yes, King Crimson, Kansas and even Emerson Lake and Palmer. A fan favorite, not just for the prog rockers and 70's muso's but adventurous, melodic, meaningful, incredibly well articulated masterpieces. 6/8 and 4/4 with all the joy of a gospel song, but with a message IMPLORING people to be grateful and tap into and believe in themselves and their potential and what is good about themselves! LONG LIVE TOMMY SHAW AND THE MUSIC OF STYX!!!
This is one of my pump-me-up songs, when I'm about to go on a job interview or do something important. And of course, love the synth solo at 3:10-3:53. I wish I had Dennis' soloing chops!
I can tell you rolled 1000 doobies on your stereo by your spelling dude.....think I was there with you...great song and album from my heavy pot smoking days back in Winnipeg.....LONG LIVE STYX !!
@NoggleBaum Way to go smoking doobies man, great job! How much did you pay to get your tickets to the grand illusion you dumb son of a bitch. The whole point of this album is that people blatantly follow along with what others do, drugs being no different. If you don't understand the album, get off the music you dumb bastard.
@valkaprase You are sad, and that I can tell. I never saw Stix, never said I did. Nor did I say anything about what the album was about. You have fooled your self young man/lady, into an illusion of what I posted here.
Sheesh. Next time you start flaming, bring a bigger Stick.
@itsknot9 So i guess we are both trolls and immature then...I don't consider being a troll by poking fun in a joking manner of a typo by some stoner. No rage here.
STYX is beyond reproach, way, way ahead of thier time, I was a fan back in the 70, and am proud to say my admiration for this band and the message / music they make gets even better as time goes on! :)
This song is about when you feel beaten and down and defeated, get up because you are stronger then that and stronger then they know! You're NEVER defeated!
Saw these guys '79, had great binoculars to tune into Tommy and the other blondes "fine behinds", good light show, but best memory:) Yes you could actually see guys "behinds" back then, not these baggy unattractive things we got stuck with since. Please let Levi's come on home!
This should be played for all of the EMO kids in the world and then grab em' by the back of the collar and toss em the street and say GET UP! BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!
I loved this band and had this album and listened to it over and over again. I even saw them live in Hartford, CT with my sister in 1981. It was so long ago and I would have been 16 and I only have vague memories of the concert. We were in the nose bleed seats. I do remember that and I borrowed someones binoculars and I remember Tommy Shaw was wearing red. I really love this song but never really like Mr. Roboto when it came out.
