As for Twitter, some countries have laws which permit them to censor online content. As I understand it, if Twitter didn't agree to remove "inappropriate" posts, the countries could have simply shut down twitter completely in that country.
And as for governments blocking internet access, we need to be real careful. Our government's trying their level best to get that kind of control here, too.
@MysticVideo Yes he did. You're right that's why their doing it, as for our country I don't like the idea but if it could stop cyber bullying and pranks then maybe it's not such a bad thing.
@truckernacion Free speech can be carried to far at times. I don't believe in complete censorship, but if free speech insights violence/riots then some censorship is called for.
i agree this this one guy around where i live who beats himself up when someone meows at him and people have put videos of him on hear and i think they need to leave him alone because my brother said they will bother him and he will go into oncoming traffic and get hit and it will be their fault
