  • Great song! Underrated.

October 25, 1991, 20 years ago Bill Graham saw them in concert in the SFBA. Then he took a helicopter ride to see another musician. But the copter crashed and Graham died. Big Bay Area musicians performed in a benefit concert shortly afterwards. Eddie Money dedicated I'll Get By to Him.

    RIP Bill Graham.

  • BEAUTIFULL ,MAN!

  • More like it hit me like a AXE

  • Mario Was so F*****G Cool With the Shades... Really Miss the original Line-up...!!!!

  • this is the song i would listen to after a tough break up :(

  • Perfect antidote to beat the Monday blues!

  • Huey was BORN in New York and his parents moved to the bay area. So, your BOTH Right.

  • Search Huey Lewis and click on the wiki link under "Early Life"

  • Love this one from '91. I think someone said this was their last hit, but does anyone remember "100 Years From Now" off their Greatest Hits in '97? Radio stations around here gave it some play.

  • he close the stage like Elvis! ahahah!! Great Huey and the News!!

  • Saw them last weekend at Sea World. They can still rock out with the best of them!

  • This is the follow up to "A Couple Days Off"

  • robert mutt lange produced this song which was their last hit. Also he produced their first hit "Do you believe in love?"

  • Good song. They should have put it on their last greatest hits cd.

  • This was the last american Top 40 by the great band Huey Lewis & The News. The song made it the # 21 on the Billboard Charts in the summer of 1991.

  • Huey's Dad was Irish and from Boston Mass. His Mother was from Poland. Huey was born in Cal and went to school there. Then his parents divorced when he was 13. He went to the Lawrenceville School in New Jersey. I guess that is where he gets the N.J accent from.

  • @thepaddywagonishere Huey was born in New York.

  • @disneylover333 And went to school in N.J

  • What a pity the 90's grunge and brit pop came along and killed off "clean rock" like this.

  • just seen him last friday at mohegan sun , shit was fuckin bad ass , got smashed drunk and jammed to huey and the daily press

  • Grunge kinda killed off bands like Huey and the News in the early 90s. But you know in 50 or so yrs its songs like this you'll remember...timeless

  • I'm glad I got to see this tour at Great Woods, Massachusetts, summer of 91. They rocked They have a sound that could never be duplicated and I'm just glad I got to see them in their prime.

  • I remember as a kid writing down all the songs i loved (born 1975) and i would go out and buy them, these days i have a hard time finding 1 good song out there, its really a sad thing to see how society, and music is going down the shitter. Time machine anyone?

  • @TCB12453 haha, yeah i agree even though i was born 1980, but your right if i knew the music and the people were such assholes like they are now I would take a time machine!

  • @TCB12453 i've got a Delorian with a flux capacitor u or anyone else wanna go back with me? one of my all time favorite bands. definately one of the best from the 80's love me some bryan adams and hall & oates. music 2day sux with artist like beiber.

  • @bobafettfan32 right on.... and love DOES hit ya like a hammer!! let's rock.... make sure to pick me up on your voyage back to the greatness of 80'sville :) cheers!!

  • I couldn't agree more, I finally got to me him and stopped to take a pose with me in a pic just before his concert in Souther Calif. I went to see him in concert at least 6 times. But I love this song as the best hits and agree it should be included in his greatest hits. It's just to bad he didn't put this album out before that era, or his era was starting to make it's exit in captive audience and fans. He is truly a classic and deserves greater respect along with the original band members.

  • @loc8MEnow

    Amen.

  • 80s, best times evar! we reached the point in the 80s, now it's a long run down. period.

  • I love it so much, I love Huey!!!!!!

  • Huey is classic, thats it!

  • Huey went to The Lawrenceville School in New Jersey

  • @thepaddywagonishere This is true, in 1967 :)

  • just a great song

  • One of my fav Huey songs. Mario looks more cool without the cig in his mouth.

  • nice try, but Huey is from San Francisco

  • @rpwilbur born in New York then his family relocated to Mill Valley however he went to school in New Jersey and was accepted to Cornell in Ithaca... then he went to Europe

  • What the hell is wrong with you, man? Seriously, posting crap like that, kids are reading this. Get a life.

  • @TheHungDonkey Not true, but very funny

  • Haha, brilliant.

  • just seen them last night in oregon... concert

  • I love Huey and the News.. no one sounds like them. Alot of bands in the 80's were all about being different.. nowadays.. things just seem regurgitated. This is one of my favorite songs.. it's not featured on the Greatest Hits.. I think they should include this song if they were to do another Greatest hits..

  • @dancingduck preach it, preach it!

  • huey is one singin mofo, love his voice

  • Huey Lewis is a good looking man in my opinion.

  • I'm so glad to see this video! This is my fave HL&TN song. Simply marvelous!

  • Good effort from HL but they were past their best by 91 which was a shame. Great music, great times, I wish there were quality bands like HLATN around today.

  • Great song

    Great BAND *****

  • OOOO IT HIT ME LIKE A HAMMER, now im stuck....

  • Great video and song. One of their best but also very under-rated.
