I hate Michael in this scene, but I know that he was/is just trying to protect her from Division, and also so he doesn't have to be reminded what Nikita had to go through. He didn't want history to repeat it self.
I love how Michael is the only one that doesn't get awkward and he acts like no one else does either. I mean i do hate what he does but he does it awesome
I agree i think it was to protect her, cuz earlier when Nathan answered the phone, when Alex and Michael hung up Michael flashed back to when Nikita was dating Daniel and he was saying that its bad (obviously w/ tho to you could see that they wished they were together) but I think he did do it and meant to be kinda cruel bout it ( maybe tryin to scare Nathan off), but as he's leaving he looks upset like he didn't want to hurt her
I was pretty mad at Michael, that seemed like it really bothered Alex. but I think he was just trying to make sure shed didnt get in a realtionship with him.
I love to see the jealous side of Michael. He pretends it's all about business but there are so many other ways he could have torpedo their relationship. He is obviously feeling a little threatened that he may loose his Alex. I think he is not yet ready to face his true feelings for her so he excuses his behavior by saying he is just doing what is best for her and Nathan. BS It's what is best for him, That line about leaving work at work is priceless and the look he gives her back fabulous
