While on the other side of the coin my Apple phone requires me to download a proprietary program onto my computer to install songs. The program tracks the media you put onto your phone, it attempts to install other programs onto your computer, it automatically requests updates that minimizes or crashes active media.

Apple is trying its best to be the "Big Brother" of the computer world watching and controling your every move.

@6Wul0Won Yes... except when you do *THIS* and it kernel panics or *THIS* and it'll sit there looking stupid at you. OS X is a VERY good OS. However, it's not perfect (no OS is perfect) and Windows 7 has closed the gap considerably.

I still prefer OS X's font rendering though, it's much easier on my eyes.
