Another hater of Stage 3-1 here. Without Game Genie codes and save state abuse, I would have never saw the end of this game. I would also like to say that the enemies throwing tornados at you look out of place in this game. They look more suited for a ninja-themed game. Kudos to you, Frkonalsh2009, for mastering this game.
I cant belive I beat this game when I was a kid. Think I was like ten or eleven years old, this is one of the harder ones I beat. Wow, I really am a great big ol' geek =)
@pinkypimpalicous I somehow beat this stage and the game when I was a kid. When I played it on emulator this part of the level is different. The spiked ceiling is rising and falling WAY too fast and there's no way to walk, you'll get crushed every time. Also the background is gone and replaced by complete blackness besides the spikes. Is this an emulation glitch that's not supposed to be there or were you supposed to do something different earlier in the game to prevent this? frkonalsh2009?
that boss is sooo easy, you can beat him without getting any damage. just stay near one side of the screen and when he comes and lands, just jump over him and shoot in the back. Then go to the other side. Repeat a few times.
Why does Sunsoft keep adding aliens to the superhero games? Superman for the Genesis also had spiders. I'm so glad I've never opened a comic or watched any movies or episodes from either series that featured giant spiders. I don't see the fascination. This is still a good game, though. Hard, but fun.
WOW! They even gave Batman's cape some animation, if only a tiny bit. Damn, I didn't know the NES could handle this. This game definitely took the NES to its limits - and with great results, I might add.

3-1 and 3-2 is very very easy compared to sewer level. I play them so much fucking times now I can play them my eyes closed.

This was a whole other level of gaming for the NES. It looks like an incredible amount of work was put in by the programmers and designers.

@billny33 maybe thats it....I played this on RockNESX and the damn thing seriously is impossible to beat, even with save states.
