Cuz they screwed it all up nasty with reach removing BR and making DMR 5 shot but that's a 10 year halo veteran speaking taking down halo2 servers for reach was also bad move. Halo3 was the peak. Bring us a halo game on iOS that kicks ass and beats stupid gamelofts nova wannabe cheesy halo.

And what do you mean they actually changed the story? No story has been changed. Nobody even knows what Halo 4's storyline will be like, but it's believed to be based on the novels. Which means that it will be true to the Bungie Halo universe.

@gvcdkg You're absolutely right, they don't "need" bungie to publish it, however when a game is being published, that means that they get not only funding from the publishing company, but they also may get added benefits such as publicity and technical support (You can look at your stats on b.net) so there are tons of advantages to developing with a publisher, as well as a few drawbacks.

@cooldonkeyfish Really bungie never owned halo since they were bought by Microsoft, they were making it, but their bosses at Microsoft had finale say. Part of their new deal for independence was to leave halo with Microsoft. And like many people from bungie said they would like to work on something halo related in the future... just not full time. Being independent will let them do other things, like distributing this game. and making their own games.
