You know what I don't get it is they say in this version of the ending that Michael is the one who uses a spare bow sprit (when a person can't lift one by themselves) and and stabs the shark himself yet it's basically the same ending, just that the shark explodes instead of sinking. Now they use the old ending with Jake surviving anyway so what's the point?
