where did you learn those techniques? its really good and the shading is incredible! could you tell me what pencils and paper u used and where you got them if its something fancy?
I saw the finished work before I finished watching the video because the link was too tempting and clickable. @.@ I've never done this with any drawings and if I have, it's been years since I have, but I literally gasped and held my breath when I saw the full finished work. It was so..... detailed, beautiful, amazing, and many other words. I wish I could find better words to describe it, but I'm still in shock.

Thank you. I'm not sure about the pencils - they don't have a brand name. I got a pack of them at a pound shop and all it says on the wrapping is '12 rubber-tipped HB pencils'. My 'B' has been sharpened down to a stub and I can no longer read anything off it. Sorry, that really wasn't helpful, was it? : (
They're both from Faber-Castell, but the yellow ones are the better ones xD
In fact, it could be, that the pencils, witegots used, are not the same as mine, but they look just like it and it's not bad to say, that Faber-Castell is very good :P

But I've learned something new to use in my drawings ^-^
I tend to get really restless in an hour, which is why I usually drew in bursts of 1-1.5 hours. For smudging, I use ordinary white tissues and cotton buds (for details).
@witegots So the pencils you use are just HB pencils? And did you have a light sketch done before adding in the shading and all? (Sorry ;A;; I'm trying to gather some tips to do my own, hope you can reply! ><;;)
