Do people only pursue love after they become more well off. all these abusive behaviors are so prevalent in the poor countries (i know they still happen in rich places), you don't abuse people you love! It kinds of seem like there's less love in these countries. what do people get out of treating others badly?

Al Jazeera simply rocks! All that CNN or the other pathetic US news channels do is to paint these people as savages and hence extrapolate it as the larger picture of the entire country. Only AL Jazeera has the courage and the drive to show the measures being taken to remedy this and how it is bringing a positive effect. Meanwhile, CNN viewers can jerk off to Lou Dobbs and Fox viewers to bill O'Rielly.
