@Geefunker If you played this song, how would you attempt to keep the energy of an entire band all by yourself? Simply plucking the stings? Or really playing your instrument? Thanks for the comment.
@vwnutben I do play this song, mainly on the piano but decently on guitar. I think the arpeggio has plenty of energy to go around. That is kind of the idea of the song, that it is an arpeggio. Your version isnt bad I just think there's more energy built into the never ending waves of the arpeggio. Thanks for sharing t he vid though.
@vwnutben the feeling of this song lies on Thom's voice and how soft and great the gitar sounds... I agree with GEEFUNKER when he says that you you butcher the hell out it with this strumming....

Way to take a gorgeous arpeggiated composition and distill it down to a shitty strum pattern. Never pick up a guitar again and the world will be a better place.
you seemed to have missed the point. sure, i can play ever last note on my electric, but how would you play it differently? on acoustic no less? do you play an instrument?
Hm, I seemed to have been harboring some aggression when I said that. Thank you for replying in a civil manor, I apologize for my rudeness.
I think I just very much prefer maintaining the syncopated chord arpeggios. When I play this (on acoustic), I like to add harmonics and an occasional melody call-and-response for a couple of measures on the b and e strings.
I've also been meaning to transcribe it to banjo, just to see what it would sound like with some of the crazy intonations it has.
that was meant to be 5 stars mate...clicked the wrong one man...liked it a lot...saw radiohead for the first time in glasgow a few weeks ago....blew me away...
love it, i respect how youve tried to do somehting different rather than just another arpegio cover worked really well, do you have the chords?

i agree with Geefunker, you need the energy rolling. I use crazy finger picking making my own version.

i don't like the strumming version of this song, not my taste, its awesome as it is originally, 3 picks as its performed by thom yorke/radiohead.
