RAM-RS

Reliability, Availability, Maintainability- Rebuilt to Standard.

The original aavp7 had a vt400. the "upgraded" or RAM-RS version has a VTA525.

V is the configuration, T is for turbocharged, and A is for aftercooled.

525 HP and 1127 ft-lbs of torque. not that the transmission needs the extra stress. LOL.

was a 4th echelon aav mech for a while. then good ol courthouse bay for a while. FML.

I was an AAV crewman while I was in the Marine Corps. They have a VT400 903cu inch V8 cummins under the Armor. Love that commercial.
