I have often wondered how much Philips and the developing companies must have paid to make this non-canonical crap? Obviously this is before there were so many Nintendo-produced Zelda games which give a (somewhat) unified version of the timeline - or at least the repeating cycle of history in and around Hyrule.... but still, this is just bad. Who thought "let's take them to another land altogether?" Maybe they were forbidden in the contract to place it in Hyrule?
