Billy Cobham Solo - Part Two

I stood right behind him at a clinic in 1989-90. Triple clinic: louis Bellson, Steve Smith and Billy. The Cobb Salad was playing black pinstripes and he slammed them so hard he was breaking the the heads, splitting them right open. I've never broken a cymbal or a tom head, only kick and snare. This guy has power. Great stick control on the snare drum is his signature.
