I don't speak German, but I do know French. Not fluently but I do understand the sentences in French. By the way, I checked in the IMBT something like that. Is the website for the movie reviews. It said that there is English subtitle. I don't know it is true but I really don't trust internet webpages. I prefer to know directly from the people who actually own the movie. Does the movie have English subtitles? thank you.

@Shipocute I have downloadet the movie, i dont have the DVD, but i checkt out the homepage a there they sell the DVD for 14 chfr. But Audio is in Swiss German, and Subtittle only in French & Italian. So its without english subtittle. I lookt for this on the onlne store of citydisc.ch _ DVD _ Grounding-Die Letzten Tage der Swissair

Komisch. Ich kann das sogar gut verstehen, obwohl ich aus dem hochdeutschen Raum komme. Ist doch ein wirklich schöner Dialekt. Ich habe mit dem Schwiitzerdütsch kein Problem. Im Gegenteil. So ist es wenigstens authentisch !

I agree. This film needs subtitles auf Hochdeutsch. Poor Ami like myself can't understand Schweizerdeutsch at all. English wouldn't be so bad either! This movie really looks good.

yes ,but i am sorry this was a docu on the swiss tv and was broadcastet inswitzerland only (maybe they think it is not interesting for peopel outside of switzerland... but sometimes the swiss tv sell or produce such docus together with 3 sat a german tv, then they put often german subtittel in it to translate the swissgerman

Nein die DVD zum Film gibts nur auf Schweizerdeutsch (orginalton),sowie synchro auf Französich und Italienisch , sowie untertitel französisch und Italienisch (weis auch nicht warum ..ich finds etwas doof untertitel in den selben sprachen die man Audio zur verfügung hat, währe besser gewesen anstelle davon Hochdeutsch und englisch als subtitel)
