Goth drum beats were sick. And the melodies. So damn cool. The 80s goth sound was the greatest in my unasked for, self-issued opinion. They were the smartest around and had a good sense of feel for pop music. They were just intelligent musicians. No side shows to impress MTV.

Synth goth should be a new genre. Ashbury Heights and 'Assembly' by Theatre Of Tragedy could fall nicely into that little box. So we can watch them flatter about, like pretty little butterflies - in a perfectly cut glass box.

They are the only band I've ever heard whose albums seem to fit particular seasons,and this is one of their best songs..from the album which I think of as the 'Winter'album,and not just because there is a song on there of the same name...totally amazing...
