after this game, coach k took scheyer, zoubek, thomas, and henderson aside and said, "You're going to win a national championship." If it wasn't for heartbreaking games like this, this years team would have never been able to win the whole thing.

I'm an avid Duke fan and when Kevin Harlan said "Is this the dagger?" I knew that shot was going to go in. What a great VCU team that we lost too. And I will miss seeing Eric Maynor in a VCU uniform: he was so fun to watch play in close games.

I'm just a geeky college basketball fan. Everyone knows VCU has been good in the last 5 years. Before Jeff Capel went to Oklahoma, he was at VCU. Good players like Jesse Pellot-Rosa, B.A. Walker, Nick George, and Mr. Eric Maynor! I remember this call and what I was doing at the time! This game was exciting! A definite classic! Of course, Kevin Harlan saying "Is this the dagger?" makes it eternal! Great video!
