I think Jess doesn't try to comfort him because he's full of crap and she probably can barely stand to listen to it. He has some nerve to suggest he has the best combination of intelligence and athleticism and he has won one competition to date. If he says "whatever" one more freaking time, I'm going to toss my laptop out of the window.

Well....I'm not a 'big' eric fan...but I think that if he
had NOT been "designated" AP (by big brother, not by his choice) his "game" playing would have been much different. But, I'm sure he doesn't care at this point, hell, he's 30K richer than 3rd and 4th place is.
but he knows how to work the game, which Jess does not, him a ED are the best two players, brain wise and Jess & Danielle are good at winning the games. I want Eric to go through to the final 4
does anyone else notice how jessica never consoles eric or reciprocates affection in the same way?? he's CONSTANTLY apologizing to her for basically not protecting her the way he wants to - and she doesn't say shit, but agree with him when he downs himself...
