in the first part of the movie, you see that the combination to the safe is 666, so im guessing it does not matter what is in the case because it symbolizes what Samuel L. Jacksons charecter is leaving behind,his evils.

@MortyUchiha beacause every sean with samuel l. jacackson in it is before every all the parst without him. samul l jackson stoped working because he saw the miricle as a sighn from god to stop killing and working for bad people,at the dinner samuel was warning travolta about this, so in later in all the other parts in the movie are after samuel l jackson leave john travolta to work by himself.

If any one might notice the audience is all frozen, it is again due to the divinity and realm of "good" that Jules is now enthralled within. He is preserving the Lord's sheep as the shepherd. No, I'm not religious, but this movie, if viewed from a biblical status, is indeed incredible.
