  • Muy bien!! =) tienes un buen nivel... sigue adelante

  • Great job except I was so afraid your bow was gonna hit the cabinet behind you.

  • @MontrealChic

hahaha thx a lot! I was afraid my bow was gonna hit the CAMERA :-P

  • i wish you would play this for my symphony audition at school tomorrow in my place !!!

  • Awesome video! Super helpful! Great playing! : ) -Vanessa

  • i know this may be much to ask...but do you still have a copy of your fingerings for don juan?

  • Gut!!

  • I love the way you pluck on those ending notes to see if they're in tune before you start playing the passage. Haha, AWESOME!! XD

  • The only comment would be: try to keep the tempo stable.

  • Aside from the fact that you keep hitting other strings extraneously this is actually extremely well-played

  • yes, FF X-2 ^^

  • Do I see a final fantasy poster behind you? hehee

  • douche-o-tron

  • metranome?

  • well, I think that it was very impressive! I am currently trying to learn this for an audition as well and I am having a very hard time with the extremely high notes on the E string and I can't get my vibrato to work that high! So good job on how far you have come with this terrible/wonderful piece! :)

  • @littlelaudie1

thank you very much! I have some fingerings if you need any help just tell me ;)

  • @sakuragaok

Yes wonderful job! I'd like to know your fingerings!

  • You must observe the rests exactly. They are too 'informal'. Then there are lapses in rhythm. One example: the famous rising triplet figure ending in sixteenth notes, on the high D. You broaden so much on the sixteenths, they sound slower than the triplets. There is an instability in rhythm in general - half notes are sometimes too short, quarter notes are of unequal length.

There should be more attention paid to dynamics. But on the whole, excellent potential.

  • @muslit

Hi Thx for the help ;)

about the dynamics: my camera war really near me and it sounds like everything forte...

  • @muslit

Hi Thx for the help ;)

about the dynamics: my camera war really near me and it sounds like everything forte...

  • rhythmically unstable

    rests not counted

    Bad articulation in left hand

    Not even bow strokes

    observe length of notes

    Late shifts

No need to pluck notes before beginning each passage

    Otherwise very good

  • algunos problemas de afinación, buena musicalidad y buen fraseo.

  • bixo fei amoado

  • Google tradutor? hahaha

  • Nice sound, intonation and very good technique.

I think, you need just relax a little and keep the pulse.

    :)

  • Comment removed

  • ????? Que significa eso? Que haga los silencios mas expresivos? O, tal vez, mas "silenciosos"????

  • Impresionante Juan!!

  • you fingerings aren't bad... likewise, you're playing with great determination... however, I believe you need to be more relax... this music is too flowing to become robotic... also your high B in mm12, and subsequent measures, is terrifically flat! A little higher on the string please

  • relax a bit, don juan was a character of lust and passion, not a brick wall. technically, the tempo needs to be more steady. otherwise it's on its way.

  • rush - drag - rush

as far as a decent tempo try just under 80 to the half

  • Good stuff man. I like how you have a Final Fantasy X-2 poster in the back

  • the bowings are really weird, but other than that i like the piece

  • Hey I'm in high school right now... I'm playing this piece for an audition in a couple months. How fast do you think I have to play this in order to not get laughed at during the audition?

  • Hello! So, I think a little bit slow than me is a good tempo in audition, I played it slowly than here.

    Good luck in your audition!

  • hey me to!.

  • metronome maybe a bit. just to make sure you're on tempo

  • Hey...great work. My only suggestion is listen to more recordings. You are playing this like an etude.

  • Not bad, you have great fingers, the only thing I suggest is at the end, the hardest part in my opinion, try to not pluck the note before you play the note. I am learning this now too and that part is hard, like you really have to listen to the note in your head before playing it and then you will get it right. Good job and good luck!

  • Un violinista clásico de boca? Mejor dedicate a la cumbia villera....mucha suerte.

  • ahahahahahahahah Y DALE BOOOOO

  • nice performance. i'm learning this too now for an audition, such a hard piece. btw, how old are u?

keep up the good work =)

  • I was 20, now Im 22 xD.! Thx a lot.

    Good luck in your audition!

  • thanks! =) i'm very nervous actually.maybe i just have to practice more =p

Hahhahahaha

    gracias!

  • I like his interpretation, a lot :D

  • Thanks! :D

  • You're welcome..!!! :D

  • you start each note very well.

Abraços, continuo te acompanhando e te admirando sempre...

    Abigail

  • hey it sounds really good. Sharpen the rhythms on the second line a little more. I think the triplets sound really good overall, but I would suggest learning or practicing them also off the string because you just KNOW some conductor is going to want them off the string some day... I've only ever done it off the string, so I probablly should learn it on... also, don't pluck your notes to test them. You were in tune every time... just hit them, and if they're not right just do it until they are:)

  • muito foda!!!!

  • not bad but aguante central. with the intonation cleaner it's going to be really good!

  • dynamics!

  • Ridiculous mon pauvre ami!!

  • You were named after the Don?

  • Nice tone, but watch the rythm and the intonation. There´s many work to do.

  • He does have great tone - impressive power with the violin - a huge advantage to have.

  • Excellent! Could you post fingerings?

  • It sounds like you start to lose the integrity of the triplets in the middle of the doublestops... but other than that, very nicely done.

  • Hi!!!!sorry, I couldnt understand what you said! can you speak in english or in spanish... thx xD

  • haha - i see Mog, Cait Sith, and Tonberry ^^

nice job! i thoroughly enjoyed it. beautiful sound. a couple of intonation spots but otherwise really good - bravo!

  • you have long fingers.

  • Amor,

Te amo te amo te amo te amo te amo te amo te amo te amo te amo te amo te amo te amo te amo te amo te amo te amo te amo te amo te amo te amo te amo...

    ahhhhh + uma coisa

    TE AMO!

  • this is great....amazing job.. what are you auditioning for

  • Bravo Guga! Nhã! Detonou Don Juan! Abração!

  • Very good but the staccato triplets are WAY too loud.

  • good articulation. needs more contrasts/especially pianos. everything too loud

  • Yeah, its true, but one think Ill like to tell you that my photocamera is very near, so anything I did for pianos or fortes was not very cleared. Anyway, thx :D any suggestion is wellcome :D

  • po, um brasileiro que torce pra time argentino ?

  • I love it!! I want to learn it for the audition!!!

  • its because you have to play the first part of this song and the last page to enter major orchestras

  • @idaho777 Wow, I did not know that.

  • Everybody knows that this is one of the most called-for orchestral excerpts for the violin. Well, everyone who is a professional performer anyways... :P

  • hahahahaahhahaahhahahahahhaahaha
