@Uatemydoodle You don't give them drives on their 3rd life, as a child before becoming a Chaos Chao. They need 21 animals for their childhood right before their Chaosing.

@Darkwingrocker Basically, the real reason you need to give it all 21 animals is so that it knows all the animal abilities. You should be able to give it Chaos Drives as long as all it's stats are the same (apart from stamina). If you give an animal more than once, you have to give all the other animals again to keep the stats the same.

@WolvesMoon100 You have to feed the chao until reaches lvl. 15-16. Or keep feeding it heart fruit so it will grow faster.

fuck that dark chao is scary looking i want it!!!! i heard if you get a black chao from the black market and name it grim only give it skeleton dogs and give it a skull to ware and take care of it with the bad people (ex: Shadow or Eggman) and make it win a shovel in a race...it will follow a chao around that's going to die.

@Sk8Meowfia to reincarnate a chao, you must take very good care of it, chao either die or reincarnate in 5 chao years. (a chao year takes about 3 real life hours.) but you must be in the garden without pausing for the time to actually count and pass.a chao will die at the age of 5 if it did not like its life and was abused, tortured, disrespected, or was never paid any attention to. your chao will reincarnate if it loved you and was paid attention to. go to the health center to see its age.

I had three chances at this. first i gave my chao all 21 animals and that didn't work. then i waited till it reicarnated its 3rd time and then tried again on it and did the same with another chao. it didn't work all three times and i am sure i gave it all 21 animals. what happened?

@itachimercenary15 either you gave the chao 2 of 1 animal or you gave it chaos drives.try making a checklist of all the animals to make sure you got all of them and that they were only given to your chao once

@itachimercenary15 it probably evolved before you could could give it all 21 animals. im not sure but i think that the chao is supposed to become a chaos chao instead of going to its 1st evolution. so give it another shot, and when giving the animals, do it while you can.

@LennonSebban990 It's fine if you gave it all 21 animals, once, and were all unique (Different). Also make it more dark, right now blue/yellow means it'll become Neutral. Try petting it with shadow and feeding it non-hero fruit.

@BlaizeTheDragon If you don't understand what reincarnating is, it's when the chao dies, and come's back to life as a new baby with 0 progress in all stats (run, swim, fly). This means it reincarnated. It only reincarnates if you were nice to it (Pet it, not throw it against walls). Go to the Chao Doctor to see how many times it reincarnated.

@TrueDevilMikau Most of these comment types are confusing. Are they SUPPOSED to walk after birth? You aren't supposed to feed it any chaos drives (including run drives), so unless you have a B or A bred chaos chao, I don't see how it can walk after birth...

I find this funny because i remember playing this alot and i have seen alot of my chao become good or bad but ive never seen them die/reincarnate. Also i feed all my chaos drives of some sort but not a bunch of random ones. And certain animalls for looks. Angle/Good Chao Unicors or something since birth and Chaos/Devil Chao Dragons since birth and they all go thrugh the process greatly.
