    I'm a chemist and all chemist know that carbohydrates can convert to fats if you want the short answer.

    Once a buildup of glucose is present in your body, your body will try to convert it into other kinds of storage (glycogen and fatty acids).

    There is a misconception in our generation that fat is bad for you and can clog your heart. That is not true.

    What is true is a balance between fats and carbs is needed.
