But back to the caging lists, the news media should have been all over the fact that they took the vote away from black servicemen in Iraq, but only the BBC reported on it.
Happily, EM, someone in Congress is paying attention. HOWEVER, we need to call/email Senators/Representatives (especially those on Judiciary Committees). Explain that the consent decree has been continually IGNORED and needs to be enforced!
And, yes, keep it in the media. I called Alan Colmes show on Air America last night and brought it up. Other people with brains called in to stay on this topic, fortunately.
Anyone want to call Rush or O'Reilly to get this into the Faux News?
BBC reporter Greg Palast obtained some of the Rove e-mails on the caging lists operation by registering the domain GeorgeWBush . ORG -- seems some members of
the Bush regime aren't too internet savvy and accidentally sent e-mails to the org instead of the com.
This was reported by the BBC, but the US corporate media blacked it out.
Goodling testified that Gonzales' Chief of Staff, Kyle Sampson, perjured himself, lying to the committee in earlier testimony. The lie: Sampson denied Monica had told him about Tim Griffin's "involvement in 'caging' voters" in 2004.
Come on members of Congress--educate yourselves--Google: caging lists
The RNC signed a consent decree in PERPETUITY to never do caging lists and voter intimidation ever again. This was signed in 1982! They continue to try to sneak these disgusting tactics into every election. There was a trial in 2004 over this. For much of the history, see moritzlaw (dot)osu (dot)edu (slash)electionlaw (slash)litigation (slash)documents (slash)petitionforrehearingenbanc (dot)pdf -- read it and get smart.

Rove was involved in the conspiracy to take away the votes of black service people serving in Iraq by sending letters to the homes of soldiers, marked "do
not forward."
When they came back undelivered, they said: Aha! Illegal voter registered from a false address.
Using this and other methods, they invalidated the votes of over 3 million voters.
150 of these idiots from Pat Robertson University were hired by Bush. Memory of a goldfish, traitor to justice and the people. Imagine what damage they are doing to the country.
Aside from the other obvious problems, something that really bothers me is that a 33-year-old person (man or woman) whose says his or her biggest accomplishment before her post at DOJ was being student body president, with no prosecutorial experience, can be given a position of authority over so many capable, experienced govt. employees. Those people must go nuts seeing people like Goodling help call the shots.
Her memory isn't so foggy when it comes to smearing Sampson. Thats how this is going to go, no one can remember anything, or find their emails, and the underlings like Goodling and Sampson will point the finger at eachother will the big fish escape.
I just hope they don't grant Sampson immunity too. I would rather see at least some of these crooks go to federal prison for perjury or obstruction of justice than to see all of them go free because we granted immunity to all the underlings and we never had enough to take down the higher ups.
Either Goodling is committing perjury, or Sampson did. Either Goodling is committing perjury, or McNulty did. Either Goodling is committing perjury or Gonzales is.
Rove done cut and run
Same as everyone else in the Bush admin...
So will bush if he's ever called on that he's not actually president.

Goodling testified about this, it's called "caging lists" but it seemed to have gone right over the heads of the members of congress questioning her.
The program was run by one of Rove's operatives named Tim Griffin. They fired one of the prosecutors and gave him the job.
What they need to look at on the prosecutor firings is who got the jobs.

Rove has avoided congressional oversight for far too long. How many times must his name keep coming up without him answering his critics?
