Not sure if you've tried playing w/ flow on a webcam video, but I have & unfortunately, it really doesn't do creative flow justice w/out being able to hear the full scope of the beat. Lyrics-wise, sorry to hear that's how you feel. Curious how many rappers you know that use homophones (properly)? That "rap voice impression" is just my voice. Have ~30 videos up if you seek a less biased perspective.

I use them quite often in my music (which you can hear on my channel), and I'm positive other--popular or otherwise--musicians do as well.
