no you do not do parkour barefoot, cause you dont want to run on gravel and rocks and glass in the streets and deseases that you could possibly get from running around outside barefoot, i would suggest light shoe with good grip

feet are already perfect for your body, shoes only weaken and damage your feet. Wearing shoes all the time is like wearing boxing gloves all the time.

Wearing boxing gloves all the times doesn't really damage your hands. + without shoes you cant do parkour, and shoes arent bad for your feet.

it doesn't damage them as such, but it weakens them. Feet need exercise just like every other part of you. Constantly wearing shoes does to your feet what sitting inside all day watching tv does to your muscles.

But feet are not made for walkin at concrete - if you

trained parkour only on grass, there wouldnt be a problem, but otherwise...

Anyway, I train in Feiyues, it's just like walkin' barefoot, except for a bit protection.
