I just discovered him last week and I've been searching all last week for more of his music whenever I got the chance. Great musician, heard on an interview that Elton John called his one of the greatest song writers of today. That says a lot. From what I've seen he looks like a lovely guy. Shame he isn't more popular.

By the way, I'm not trying to say that Rufus stole his tune from Bizet, just that the rhythm of "Vibrate" is reminiscent of a Habanera. Bizet's Habanera is probably the most familiar example to most folks, and come to think of it, Rufus is a huge opera fan. The score of "Carmen" is surely in his musical memory. Everything a composer hears becomes part of the material from which they can create new things.
