you have to actually create the lead, rhythm, and drum sections of a song for it to be played in the game. you can't actually take a song off your pc and import it into the game if that's what you were asking.

no, you cannot actually do that, you have to create it through the tools provided within the game.

at the main menu there's a selection called music studio (or something like that), so just select that and then it says something like recording studio, then just follow the on screen instructions the rest of the way.

yes, they work with the gameplay, so they should work for the music studio as well.

you can play randomly until you get the basics of what you want to record then you push left on the d-pad and it starts recording what you play from that point on.

that's true, you don't need lessons...i was messing around on my friend's guitar and happened across some tabs which made it pretty easy. i was able to learn 'hells bells' in just a few mins.

no problem...um, im not sure about being able to upload custom songs to a computer...from what i understand, there's an in-game marketplace where the songs are stored...but it would be sweet if they managed to let us dl songs from users with different consoles.
