Specialized has done an amazing job with these bikes. I have a 2010 Tricross Expert - Carbon fork, inserts. SRAM. Love the bike. Triathlons, GranFondos and Touring await this summer.
Indeed, it is the Specialized Tricross Sport 2011. I have one and I can tell that this bike is awesome. You can ride it anywhere, with or without carrying baggage, it doesn't matter. Very comfortable position for riding, the triple chainring is super useful when you have hills to overcome.
What model is this one? I was thinking of buying the Specialised Tri-cross 2010.
It comes with 32mm tyres which are capable of a bit of offroad and are still decent on the road. If I wanted to be a bit more serious on the road I could maybe change the tyres to 26mm slicks but I think the difference is negligable.
I really like this bike, anyone know if there's other brands like the TriCross? strong and sporty road bike with the 3 ring crank and rack ready.
