First of all the stats for that ring really aren't that great at all, 5 points is practically useless. Secondly it's not worth that much money and the price it's worth is greatly reduced when you actually try to sell it to a merchant because the highest amount merchants carry is 1200 G. Not to mention that you spend a great deal more just upgrading that useless house when you could easily just joining a guild and sleep there for leveling and Inns only require about 20 G a night at the most.

You don't have to upgrade it fully, you just need the things in the top floor to jump up on top for the note. Did you notice how once you read it you can't read it a second time?

go to the colovian traders in skingrad and talk to the man in there and scroll through his merchandise and you will see upgrades to buy...jus buy dem and dey get installed instantly...oh and if there is a woman in there...speak to her...for 150 gold she helps around the house so ur not alone

I try to stay as low level as possible and as high stats as possible by making sure i get 5 points in 3 stats everytime because enemies get stronger when you level so by doing this I end up being able to run into an horde of Dremora and beat them all.
