so you want lvl 40s who have played the game for awhile to camp all T1 stuff which if they control its rolls into T2 control thing and pretty soon your opponent will be attacking your major town? << Is lame. Being in a low level area trying to gank people means you are and should be turned into a chicken

This only happens when you are flagged for RvR in a lower tier. So on Core servers this is only in RvR areas, but on open servers you are flagged for rvr everywhere. So if you go into any lower level zone you are chickenized. This is to prevent ganking, and screwing up the Tier wars as each tier RvR points spill over to the next.

ok, i'm not to fond of this idea, if it was having let's say level 40 wandered into a tier 1 rvr his stats could be lowered to where he's equal to a level 11 toon, that would be understandable...but to be turned into a chicken with 1hp lol

Alot of the players are either stupid or dont know what the chicken mechanic is. I played PW and went into the lower zone at level 12. Was chasing this caster around as a chicken and he ran away lol. You do 1 damage but you have more then 1 HP. I had 200 hp and most the time enemeys run right by you.

No. That was just showing you how a higher lvl'ed person can't go into lower lvl areas and kill the lower lvl players.

Is there talent points or any kind of spec options in Warhammer? One of the things about WoW that has gotten so stale is the lack of customization. Dying gear isn't reallying going to make up for it. What does warhammer have to offer in this respect?

Yes there are talent trees. There is also Morale abilities you can use. Look up one of the Warhammer Production Podcast for more info on this.

I know this is really important for the game. If High levels didnt turn into chickens they would take over low tier RvR and boost their nooby friends.

However, I think this could work in a different way.

For example, you would gain a debuff if you attacked someone, that would nerf you a lot, to the point that even a low level could beat you....This would stack, and with the 3rd stack you would turn into a chicken. But only if you attacked someone (duration - 20 minutes).

If your on a pure pvp server you will always get turn into a chicken when you enter a lower lvl tier or even if you ding say lvl 12 in a tier 1 zone. Kinda gay and will probably screw over open servers.

On Core servers you can bring your high level guys to the lower areas to help your buddies out. Since you don't flag pvp you don't go chicken.

yeah but is still buggy sence you can be pve with some frieds killing a mob and you get flagged out of no where. Flags in the game are still a big buggy. on good thing about rvr area is it give you a 10 second warning that you entering a rvr area. I like this alot sence there are headen rvr area you just kinda stumble into that are not marked on the map. Guessing the are like an roder/destron base.

Just if you flag RvR. You can still do PvE in the lower tiers. The only thing you need to be careful about, especially as a healer, is to not heal a person that is flagged, or do any other action that would cause you to flag.

The reason behind the chicken is so high levels can't gank/camp low levels. Also a friend of mine brought up a really good point... if high levels could come back to the lower tiers with nothing to worry about they could take all the keeps and what not with little to no trouble making it pointless for lower people to even try.

The thing is it only happens when you are in RvR status. If you ever want to go back to the starting area of your factions YOU CAN! No content was cut out just RvR areas in starting game. Besides there is so much content in one area there is no reason for anyone to go back to a old RvR zone

Right, this probably happened because I had my RVR flag turned on and never turned it off. I don't remember, but regardless the video shows what happens if you are flagged in an area you shouldn't be.

Well the area I landed in is in an RVR area I think, which is why that happened. I have no idea how this will work on the open rvr servers, this was a core ruleset server.
