Buddy keep in mind that we would have split if not back then than now b/c its not possible to run a country that is divided by a huge nation. Just flying over India to reach West Pakistan would have been a struggle and think about the aid, it would have been divided between the East and West. Our current situation should be enough to tell us that we could not maintain both the East and West especially when another country was sitting b/w us.
