Yep, those were awesome days, even spotted myself there - Kutze and Rheineck converted me to beer drinking, but they decided windsurfing was a little too out there for their target audience I think - what we couldn't do with a sponsor like that now!
That was an awesome event, the pinnacle of my non-prestigious w-s career at 8= in the production class. JK was a horrible brew tho. Got any footage of the Rheineck course nationals held in Evans Bay just before this? I recall Carlyon took it out on SL boards. 40 knot gusts with the dagger down on the Blakes Spirit, those were the days. Nice work.
