I had my first ballet class today and am in the lower class with the small girls. It was hard for me to the the things in that class, when they're are kids younger then me doing this! Amazing!

Are all of ur ballet dancers required to wear dancing belts? Where I go we have to wear them even on stage.

I am seeing so many absolutely stunning dancers in this video. very jealous. As far as I can tell, every single one has amazing feet, turnout, and technique. And the partnering is LOVELY!!!!!

I have a little question, what's the meaning of the colors from girls belts? does they mean something, like the level or it's just decorative? I ask 'cause in my ballet school we use different color hair ribbons to differentiate all levels or years.
Please, I'll be grateful for that information :D

Hi, i currently go to the mapleconservatory=) and yes the belt colors represent each level.
Violet: B2>>>highest level
Pink: B3
Red: B4
Light Blue: B5
Yellow: B6
Primary levels do not wear belts=)

The highest level is B1 - Royal Blue Belt
Primary level does wear belts and they are White.
The hip alignment belts have a dual purpose. The colors represent level and they are used to help the dancer work on correct alignment.
