Good effort. By writing a three digit number next to itself you are essentially multiplying the original number by 1001. Dividing by 7, 11, and 13 results in a net division of 1001. Essentially, 1001x  / 1001 = x

The number is:

a*100000+b*10000+c*1000+a*100+­b*10+c*1

=100100a+10010b+1001c

@kamikasear it's because you're dividing by 1001 (7*11*13 = 1001). Say the three digit number is ABC, where ABC represents a random 3 digit number with integer digits. If we multiply ABC by 1001, its the same thing as multiplying ABC by 1000 and then adding ABC again (ABC * 1001 = ABC(1000 + 1) = ABC *1000 + ABC *1) So, if you multiply ABC by 1000 you get ABC,000 and then if you add ABC to that number you get ABC, ABC. It's just a property :)
