actually you can see the 8900 side by side a bold, the 8900 screen is a tad bigger

I'm pretty sure multiple reviews have stated that the Bold's screen is LARGER than the 8900's, which is why the 8900's resolution is better because the pixels are compressed and more vivid.

no one jump to any conclusions because this phone is still just a prototype, and is not coming out for several months, also what this phone will be like is basically similar to the 8820 with all the same features and apps, but the new screen layout similar to the bold. thats basically it

This is not a prototype, and there are already some providers that offer this phone. I'm with Rogers Canada and I had the phone for 3 weeks now. It is a great phone, and I would compare it more to a Bold then the old Curve in terms of functionality (it has the same OS). I love my 8900!

I think they stopped the 3g on this item is because 3g sucks batteries dry and also the resolution and brightness of this new screen would suck battery life also. So if you want a net/phone get the bold. If you want more of a media/phone get this one. If an avg movie takes 2 hours, why have the 3g in the background cutting into that battery life?? Just my opinion.
