  • I do stop animation videos, and i use little cars. would i beable to edit the lights onto the cars. How would i do this?

  • @smallsnipe Doing it with a package like Lightwave would also require camera matching software like Syntheyes or PFTrack, and is really no job for a beginner. You might be better using Adobe After Effects to do it. It might not be quite so accurate, but it would be a lot easier. Since it is stop motion you're doing, you might try just using Photoshop or some similar program and put in lens flares on each frame.

  • @axeman3d Lens flares?

  • @smallsnipe If you are assembling lots of indiviual jpegs into your movies it would be very easy to put lens flares onto frames using photoshop or similar photo software. Search for lens flare tutorial on Youtube, there's lots of them. You wouldn't need to use torch light then, and get coloured effects too.

  • @axeman3d Well, i dont have Photoshop, and i dont know which one to get, and they are all expensive... If i sent someone a video could someone else possible do the lights?

  • @smallsnipe I dont think anyone will do the work for you for free. Go and get Photoscape, its a free photo editing program and it has a lens flare tool in it. Open up the editor, select your picture and go to Filter/Lens Flare and add some flares. Easy.

  • @axeman3d Okay, thank you! I always love it when the YouTube community is nice and helpful. Thank-you again, so so much!
