@dsrevo79 Luongo also had 4 shutouts in the playoffs last year, with 2 coming in the finals. And none by Shnieds, not that i'm hating on him. He's definitely one of the best backups in the league.

Luongo is a good goalie but isn't good under pressure.Schneider got a taste of playoff hockey and did really good in his first playoff season .915 sv% and 2.58gaa.I think it is time they rotate the goalies back and forth from game to game next year even in the playoffs so luongo doesn't have the full workload,thats if none of these goalies are traded.

@350z89 Clearly hockey isn't a sport you are familiar with, if it was you would be smart enough to know that were as luongo had his share of the blame, the whole team fell apart, they weren't able to play their style because it was far to dependant on the power play and they were attempting to win favor with the officials far too often. Do you truly believe that putting corey in between the pipes in a Stanley Cup final would have helped them score goals on thomas? get real....

@Canuckfan124 kk first of all, its cory not corey. second you may know hockey but you dont understand..... i absolutely agree that if cory hadve started game 6 of the SCF we wouldve won the cup that night... as soon as cory came in it was a different game. the canucks rallied back got 2(shouldve been 3) goals and probably wouldve won. so dont rule out any possibilities.

@KeslerisKickAss alright, i admit i fucked his name up, that doesn't change the fact that it doesn't matter who the goalie is Luongo or Schneider, if the team can't get their shit together and start finding ways to beat thomas (which every team that played them did) then you can't expect your goalie to bail them out. I love the Canucks but they have a bad habit of making good goalies look like gods. Luongo isn't to blame, it was the entire fucking team... get that through your head?

Put him in net against and an agressive and hungry bruins team that have the refs in their back pocket and they would have done the same damage. Quit living in the past, we lost the cup... fine, time to get over it and try again, Schneider is playing better than Luongo, so he gets the starts, in the finals.. either goalie we chose would have gotten lit up.
