I always had problems with Marshalls before, maybe they just work for certain people, but these days, I'm looking for old school and Marshalls are gonna give me that beef I need, now I wonder what my maxed HM-2 will sound like through one of those MA's XD

Wow I wish I could go to England and visit the marshall factory... If you ask me they are the best amps out there I recently ordered my JCM 800 2203x and I can't wait to receive it.. Nothing's like the raw tone a marshall gives. I'd be like a little kid at a candy store if I went to the marshall factory!

@oRusty00 are your pickups stock,if so try a guitar with some Seymour Duncan pickups,Marshall's are vary sensitive to pickup quality (higher quality pickup have less noise and a tighter more full sound and emo.seymour duncan makes the best pickups) try some thing like a seymour duncan pearly gates pickup they go great with marshalls also better guitar cables will help cure noise monster and live wire make the best cables.hope this helps.

@insonicbloom Yes the paint job/defecation is true. The replacement bit pure speculation on your part. The JVM does sound amazing its even better in person but can't justify or afford the buy at the moment. Plus you have the little Blackstar now which i forsee being difficult to get back!

My DSL50 is great and gives me all i really need but i am VERY tempted to go for the 50 Watt JVM head. Very good range of sounds on tap and i will probably crumble (read definately) eventually. Just need to make sure my DSL knows that it is not going to be replaced but rather complimented. Second-Hand prefably. Good Vid Rob \m/

@nekromachine hey i have a marshall jvm 210h, its been through some damage in its time, mainly a 10 cm tear on the under the head and a 5 by 3 cm tear on the top, covered by black masking tape. just had it retubed (cost £120) looking to sell it as i would prefer a mesa :D would you be interested in it for £700?
