After listening to this album for about 21 years, I have come to a conclusion. This is one of the best albums ever made and it is also one of the most underrated as well. The concept is amazing and so is the execution. It just blows me away every time I hear it.
I can see why most people dont like Mr. Bungle .. Cuz most people just dont get it. They are amazing. There music is very tongue-in-cheek, not to be taken too seriously. Almost all of Pattons projects are like that .. The instrumentation is also very good. Not many people can write music like that.

@eshnic a lot of it has to do with completely selling out and capitalizing on an image and phrase, you seriously cannot place your finger on a specific style or sound with Mr. Bungle, you cannot form a tangible image of what Mr. Bungle realistically looks like, there is no level of equivalence that Mr. Bungle shares with anybody else. To compare is a danger, though for some souls, the Art that is Sound is not completely lost. I don't like ICP at all. Not a single song. Not even a member.
