Open Garageband, create a new track with Tennis Volley 01, Tennis Volley 02 or Tennis Serve sound effects. Go to track information, apply Overdrive (Drive High, Tone Bright) max out both settings. Creates realistic loudness.

That's all there is! Apply reverb/echo as necessary to create your specialized gun sound!
