jesus fucking christ, those old tin can "banjos" absolutely ruin songs, not to mention no time, rythym, succession, it all runs together into one big garbled mess of ear noise, that is certainly NOT how to play an instrument. Get a metronome dude and get rid of that hollow twangy tin-can.
Well buddy I just want to let you know I started out with one of those banjos, it was my grandfathers, it may not have been the best looking or sounding banjos in the world but it played GREAT and it still does and its over 70 years old and I still play that thang it has made me 100's of dollers so think before you speak and try not to take God's name in vain to much you will be the one to stand before him and say why you did that not me.... This guy's only been playing a couple of months so his timing is a bit off but fuck, he's already making his own song variations.
before you start rushing yourself learn it well slowly before speeding up and maybe getting the timing wrong or even tripping up over your own fingers.
if your in a jam session people will appreciate the fact you can play well not fast
Hey, great job. Keep it up. I'm JUST NOW starting to learn the banjo.. I'm 50.. you've sure got a head start on me!! Doing really good. And as stated earlier by markyboyz, just ignore the ignorant ones. ;)
nice but its not that good because your ruching slow down your sound a lot better
