I can't wait to get the remastered copy of 'Quartet' on cd so I can play this over and over LOUD. It just KILLLLLS me. I just want to cry every time I listen to this track +
I just listened to this track for the first time in perhaps 20 years and almost started to cry- when I heard the instrumental part at the beginning, it took me straight back to 1982. That music *is* the early 1980s to me. What a song to end the album with, one of my favourite albums of all time.
I didn't consider there was any U-vox that sounded good without the grooves, now thatcha mention it: I used to play it through my (two) 500W keyboard amps. Now that's stereo. Lucky my neighbors were also in the band...
@PASJONAT51 agreed and this song is truly the swansong of the album....so lush and sublime....brings me back to my visits to Germany in the early eighties when this album came out...a different era..filled with pure magic.

Recorded in the day when albums finished with a bang not a whimper. Wow what a tune.

I only wish there was an extended remix of this wonderful track... Some of their best songs happen to be the shortest ('Sleepwalk' comes to mind)
Thanks for posting!
