well, he is willing to do almost anything for a movie if he has to, but he doesn't risk his life if it's not necessery. It's not like he's doing it for fun. Doing that backflip would have been madness and of course he wouldn't do it without a safety line. That would be just stupid.

Actually, he had a safety line for this. Even Jackie isn't crazy enough to let go of a ladder in mid-air, do a backflip, and grap it again a few rungs down with no safety line.

I'm surprised Jackie didn't die here. Flying hundred's of feet above Kuala Lumpur with no protection anywhere in sight takes a really crazy person. This is why Jackie is the best. He does everything to please his fans.

the stunt that almost ended his career was the one in armor of god. he jumped from a castle wall to a tree. he trid it once and made it. He felt it wasnt good enough for the movie so he shot it again and fell to the floor and he cracked his head right open. he had to replace it with a piece of metal.
