  • Usually they poop when they are scared. Somebody should have shot the bigger bear.

  • THose Bears are not fighting there playing there litter mates thats what they do

  • Song fong horkay, talk it to the middle

  • i could take em

  • Dude I could of sworn that bear had the other one by the head and was uppercutting him..

  • The time that I was at the discovery center they had a twelve hundred punder and one smaller grizzly. Anyway the larger bear had a bone of some sort that the other wanted. The larger bear actually set the bone down on a rock and then leaned against ithe rock while having what I would describe as an amused look on his face. He waited until the other bear came up close to take the bone and then loudly roared up close in the animal's face. He actually teased the other animal with the bone.

  • there just playing lol

  • i think a silverback gorilla would mess these guys up

  • Thats not a fight, they were just playing around.

  • someone want to chat

    funny video lets chat QK

  • i went there =) i got a nice pic of it and lots of yellowstone pics

  • damn , this is you tube. quit with the rational thinking and comment on the video. for example, that bear fights like your mom, weak and submissive.

  • HUH??? Friend what is your country of origin?

  • This is not a fight, it's play.

  • Anyone that says 'you have to go out and see them 'for real' isn't thinking; not everyone has the skill to camp in the wild. These parks give them at least a chance to see these animals in relative safety in their natural habitat. It astounds me how rigid and elitist people can be in their ideas on things. Life is filled with chances to learn and experience every day- I pity those that don't use every one of them and insist on only the most 'authentic' or 'best' things... its so limiting.

  • Excellent points. Its obvious you may be much more rational and educated then I. I like to resort to childish remarks and verbal bantering. Perhaps on the next YouTube "exchange" with someone I will try your approach. Unless they really piss me off.

  • I think ANY time people have a chance to see wild animals and learn about them is valuable. Is it authentic? No. Is it meant to be? I doubt it. But if some 10 year old from the Bronx goes to Yellowstone (the actual park not the discovery center) and sees a bear or wolves or bizon in its natural habitat (albeit de-sensitized to human presence) that kid could grow up to make a difference in the world.

  • OH I AM A " GAY FAG". LOL.....You are a dumb idiot... If you say anything else mean im gonna tell on you... you.. you .. poopy eye ball. Your a mean rude person..... a sad, not happy person....a whore baby(momma sucks dick) person . LOL LOL LOL LOL xm 202 o AND A RADIO

  • WHY MUST WE FIGHT???? IF YOU LIKE BACON WITH YOUR EGGS THEN WE HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON!!

lets take it fom there guys! We have not forgotten what native americans have done. Thats why your mascot is John Redcorn on King of the Hill. HOW COOL IS THAT?????

  • hahahahahah thats funny

  • Crow Indian. You're a moron. I can't believe how dramatic some of you people are. My God. Go find a hobby.

  • The comments below are even more disturbing than the video..

  • Look in the mirror and ask yourself if you resemble a neanderthal. your race is outdated and awaits to be eliminated by the Darwinian-race-selection-evolution. You'll only see less and less of your non-productive, drunken, drugged, ugly, brainless, ignorant kind in this world, sad but true. just watch. pay ur taxes bitch. I'd ask you to pay for your college tuitions too but I don't think you guys would make it. stupid fucks.

  • it's not ur land bitch. the land was there way before humans even existed. just because you lay ur foot on it and give it a name (crow indian land) doesn't make it your land fool. it also doesn't make it the white man's land. so go fight for it, whoever is left standing can claim it for the time being. if u can't then shut the fuck up and pay ur taxes just like everybody else. do u know how much tax i'd have to pay for my G37?

  • you're a fucking idiot, it's not your land anymore. We took it from you at the end of a gun in which YOUR CROWS HELPED US! I've been to your Reservation and I know the way you fucking lazy indians live. You live off of the white mans dollar and spend it in casino's and the scream how you deserve more for being alive. If you want us to leave, you come fucking make us Tonto.

  • You're probably not even Native American! Do you think people are going to really believe you?

  • anything is possible!

    "AHHHHHHHHHH" BEAR BLASTING!

  • we dont have bears in australia, but if they see a human do they run and attack?

  • depends. they can be very unpredictable. different types of bears behave differently too. whenever i've had a bear approaching my camp i've always just made a bunch of noise and they always just walk away.

  • they useally dont do that, if they saw you, they would run, but they can attack if they think you are a threat or if theyr kids are in danger they would maby attack. (sry bad english)

  • probably so you wanna stay away from them

  • there are no mother and cubs there that I know of, but I am going there in June so I will tell you when i go

  • I have been to this place and Yellowstone, I enjoyed both places, at the center, all the animals seemed very happy, and yes these bears are just playing, oh and Yellowstone is an unwalled wild place, animals come into and leave the parks without human intervention. It is a risk wandering around there, but if you know what to do, it is a beautiful place filled with amazing animals

  • lol this isnt yellowstone park,

    in yellowstone isnt a wall:S

    maybe dont talk shit?

  • You're right. This is NOT Yellowstone National Park. It is the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone, MT. Right on the edge of the park. And these bears are NOT fighting. Just playing. This place is a joke. I'ts not like the real thing, and Yellowstone Park isn't much better!

  • you're a douchebag

  • Intelligent response! Do you have a problem with my comment? Or just being ignorant?

  • i'd like to think that animal sanctuaries dedicated to the well being of these animals (which are being reintroduced to the park with some success) aren't jokes. they're important and helpful and the national park system in this country provides profound benefits to habitat preservation for the other animals we share this earth with.

    and you're still a douchebag

  • Still resorting to name calling I see. I can play that game, but I do not feel the need to stoop that low. The Discovery Center creates facade by making people think that this is the real deal and is inherently dangerous for the survival of the animals as well as for humans. These glorified zoos aren't doing any species any favors. The National Parks are better, but still not the same as the true wilderness. Better management, and less tourists is the real answer.

  • i'm not sure it's about the "true wilderness" more than it's about observation and awareness. the discovery center and the national park provide the opportunity for every person to learn from and respect this wilderness. i would agree that some people abuse this opportunity and their actions are subject to penalty under federal law. still isn't the first step in these animal's survival awareness? enough people have to care to make a change and i think the discovery center is doing just that.

  • You are correct on that point, however I do believe the curators of these types of centers need to re-afirm the fact that these are wild animals. How many times has someone been hurt or killed because they thought a bison was "cute and cuddley"? Or been mauled by a bear because they got between a cub and it's mother? The animal is the one who really loses on that deal.

  • ok now i'm confused. i thought your point was that these "zoos" weren't real enough for the average person and this in someway is harmful to animals and people. i'm still don't understand that connection but now you seem upset about the ignorance people show in approaching wild animals. i know for a fact that curators of these facilities stress to the breaking point the consequences of invading on these animals' space. i'm just not sure what you're arguing anymore.

  • n7zsd you got owned! fail!

  • Bullshit! Because I refuse to argue with someone who resorts to name calling? My point is that if you want to experience the wild, or learn about bears & wolves, this is NOT the place. This is NOT their natural habitat. It's not that hard to understand. Some people are just obtuse.

  • how? what are you even talking about, yellowstone is a natural habitat for these animals.

  • Yes, but the Grizzly & wolf discovery center is NOT. IT's not even in the park...it's maybe 3 acres at best. Tell me how this is their natural habitat?

  • yeah I know, but thank you for pointing out the obvious in every post. I'm referring to your comment of, "I'ts not like the real thing, and Yellowstone Park isn't much better! " - saying yellowstone isn't natural makes you wrong. I also agree with the guy who called you a douschebag.

  • Explain to me how having several cities, hundreds of thousands of tourists each year, animals getting run over daily, and not having a place for the animals to winter undisturbed is natural. Also, if you are going to call me names, at least learn how to spell first. Look, I'm not trying to argue here, I am merely trying to point out that Yellowstone is not as pristeen and "natural" as most people think.

  • Damn the letter count....Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana alone each have plenty of wilderness areas that are more wild and natural than any part of Yellowstone. I suppose it's nice that tourism hasn't ruined them yet, but it's just not the same kind of wilderness. I hope that makes sense.

  • and do you have a better substitute to creating a protected park system? the national park protects animals that are near extinction, or at one point were close to extinction. if yellowstone were similar to wyoming and montana wildernesses the animals would be hunted. I really don't know what you're trying to argue here, or even if you have a point. your lack of capability to have a logical argument leads me to this question. i understand your point, but it's not worth the effort.

  • Not true. We have plenty of wolves and grizzleys in Idaho but they cannot be hunted. Yet. Also I am not saying that there is a better solution than a protected park system, I am simply stating that Yellowstone is not much of a true wild habitat for these animals. The original discussion was about the Discovery Center anyway. And you're right...it;s not worth the effort. I guess we just let the animals die....My answer? Close the park to vehicles and limit tourism. Never happen.

  • Yep, you need to see it this way - it is better than nothing. But also nothing comes closer to a natural habitat than..well the natural habitat of the specific animal.

Without any human interference whatsoever, the way it is intended for any animal to enjoy its life just as we dont want to get harrassed by a pack of wolves when shopping.

  • wow, totally was not prepared for that mid fight shit. hahahahaha fucking hilarious. thats what i called scared SHITLESS hahaha

  • tthats just bear world i think in rexburg and they are probably in their car

  • thats not a fight, thats a cub messing with his mother. second, WHY ARE YOU STILL STANDING THERE?!?!?!?

  • hey, im about to go to yellowstone but i need to know more about it. The main thing i want to know is that "are the animals roaming free"? or are they in cages and stuff. if its just out there in the wild, isnt it dangerous?

  • Yes, in national parks... the animals normally roam free. Its not very dangerous though, because since its a park... poachers and hunters are less likely to get in and do harm to the animals. Basically, a lot of it is completely protected wilderness where people are allowed to camp.

Besides, if the animals were confined to cages, that'd be a bit mean. They need space to roam free.

  • yeah i just came back from my trip and i found out how it was. thx

  • Love the giant wall in the background.

  • actually i dont think thats true ive been there i dont think there are any mother/cubs there i know there is revel and stroke and they are brother and sister...ill figure it out ill get back by july when i go again

  • yea that definitely looks like a big cub and his HUGE mother

  • that wasnt a fight, it was juust a bear fightn wit his mother

  • Self ownage... it wasn't a fight, he was just fighting.

    WTF?

    Seriously...
