This clip is from "The Last Home Run". In the Marley & Me book, there is an entire chapter about Marley appearing in a movie. These scenes are all from that movie and are not from the movie based on the book.

"The Last Home Run" is out of print and I was lucky enough to find it in my public library.

Dang. ever since reading the book I am so much fallen in love with Marley the dog. It was such a treat to see him, living and breathing in the film that was so well deserving for a princely form of a dog. Even he has some comic personalities he is very much beloved and no one could experience the thrill of having Marley into the lives of the Grogan family.
