pure awesome. B.O.C. Most underrated band ever! Their creativity never seems to end. Most even great bands lose the inspiration and creativity after so many years. B.O.C. has never lost it!!!
Another Great Album from the Gods themselves.I grew up spending the summers in long island.Had a summer job mowing Ducks lawn, and hung around the house when they had band practice.Long Live The Soft White Underbelly
I experienced what inspired this masterpiece, too many times, after making mistakes regarding women, on my way home walking down the highway after a night of mayhem, the only thing left was the cold gray light of dawn.
I dont get it..this album has at least 5 top 40 hits and did I hear one song on the radio...No...it is a shame..everyone who hears this album just cant believe how awesome BOC is! They are truely rocks greatest rock band! Ant they are still touring, which is just freakin amazing!!
@cuttlefisch I've been a fan of Cult's since '77 and am, like many, partial to their very early (72-74) stuff. However, this album is nothing short of stunning, especially coming as it did after a 10-year hiatus from the studio and 26 years after their first album. Heaven Forbid was simply a remarkable acheivement.
@SkaterDude652 The relative lack of knowledge/appreciation of BOC is a mystery that has never revealed itself to me. I've always thought, and still do, that they have had more good songs, by far, than any other rock band. I realize that's just one man's opinion, but how they have been ignored just doesn't add up and doesn't seem right. On the other hand, it makes it kind of cool that just a relative few of us know how great they are.
@RoeserFan2 Perhaps that is why we fans are the Cult....but yes I have been pondering your sentiments for over 35 years......on my way to see the mighty BOC tonight in San Francisco!
@cuttlefisch it was awe inspiring! The best is only getting better...vigil, golden age of leather, hot rails, black blade smoked....they are still the best going on 40 years!
@RoeserFan2 I completely agree - I came late to the the BOC fold (1980 or so) but have since seen them at least 30 times and have generally been blown away every time. They will NEVER be in the Rock'N'Roll Hall Of Fame, and that is truly wrong.
@skosters BOC is at the top of OUR Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and that's what really matters. I play a whole bunch of videos each day on You Tube and almost every one of them is a BOC song cuz I don't have my vinyl anymore - Rock on, BOC!
Brooding, menacing bass line, bone-crunching power chord progression, searing lead work, excellent latter-day vocals by Eric and a smashmouth ending. What more could we want?
1 dislike? You never go full-retard.

@SkaterDude652 Sadly, this album is underrated by many BOC fans, never mind anyone else.
