  • RIP :(

  • I spent many hours on that pad. Walking the structure.

  • Amazing...thanks for sharing.

    Sad...but it was time.

  • Seems like all the major lifts are missing. You see the cranes and cherry pickers move around but not do much, then chunks of the tower disappear without you seeing them move. I mean, the tower is suddenly half as tall after 1:36, but you never see what happened to it!

  • I'm such a NASA geek! I cried through out this video, I wishes that some day I could have been on that launch pad waiting to be blasted of into space. :'( I shall miss the shuttle program very much!''

  • Wait, why they taeking it apart anyways~?

  • @2012TheAndromeda The STS shuttle program is sadly over. I wish as many people have said it was retired when its replacement was ready to go into service not years before it due to fly. Right now we need the shuttle as much as ever if the problems with ISS continue.

  • totally depressing

  • @writer452 Very depressing

  • @writer452 More like how exciting SLS in this bitch

  • wow!!!

  • Very well done ... But so sad see how this famous pad has been canceled. Space Shuttle program should not have been ended befor to develop and test a good substitute...

  • Love you NASA :)

  • :´(

  • I wish I could work there! How neat would that be!

  • Sad to see a part of history of the space shuttle program being dismantled. The pad where the ill fated Challenger mission launched from.

  • Pretty sad video.

  • i cried

  • What will you do with all these parts?

  • @richbah127

Build another Shuttle~! The gov. didnt fund them~! XD

  • I'm sad about the end of shuttle missions... Anyway, what are you going to do on the pad now? A visitor center, a museum...?

  • @Gonso96 They've already built a new mobile launcher platform intended for use on that pad with Ares rockets...hopefully it will find use in whatever commercial endeavors are to come.

  • Goodbye and thank you.
