  • @starr522 Ever heard of Mystic River? He won an Oscar for that movie. Just saying

  • @starr522 First of all he's had a stellar acting career which includes Oscar nominations and a win for best supporting actor in Mystic River. Second, we did finance and train Bin Laden to help fight the Soviets in Afghanistan. The Bush administration pushed that war on the American public by any means. They created false evidence, they ignored the U.N. and multiple domestic and foreign intelligence agencies, and dropped the ball on capturing Bin Laden by invading the wrong country.

  • 9/11 was perpetrated by the smurfs.

  • @firethower99 Yup, your rite. i seen it with my ear-balls.

  • Right wingers almost never apologize for shit even if they are dead wrong.

  • War is NEVER the answer!!

  • the douche with the goatee is wrong, but god do i hate bill mahers crowd, 90 percent of those retards have no knowledge on the topic they just want to feel they are involved in the argument

  • @drewbrownlee10 Welcome to America!

  • Actually Hayes held up pretty good. When Robbins finally gave him time to speak, he was good.

  • Here's a connection: how you only poll republicans for your stupid fucking opinion polls.

  • "A relationship between Iraq and Al Qaeda" could mean anything. It doesn't hold a candle to the quote from the 9/11 Commission's report, which said specifically that there was never a collaborative operation. He used a vague quote outside of the report and out of context to defend a claim that Maher was cherry picking evidence. Nice going, douche.

  • Watch the doco Uncovered. Its interviews from ex-CIA who all say there is a huge bridge between the CIA and the whitehouse. Basically, the white house gets reports from the CIA, mines it for quotes that apply to their agenda, then call it intelligence. Nobody in the CIA ever said that sadam had WMDs, hence america went to war on false pretenses and propaganda. Rumsfield should be tried for warcrimes and Powell too. It was Rumsfield who supported Sadam in the first place in the 80s.

  • Robbins comes across as an angry drunk screaming "lies" over and over. Maher at least had sources to refer to but is clearly ignoring the sources Hayes himself puts forth - so much for the "rational" Bill Maher. Then the woman ends with a non sequitur as if she had not been listening to the conversation at all and even Maher called her out on it. Then there is the audience, clapping like the trained seals they are, always interjecting themselves into the discussion. Lose the audience Maher

  • On a side note, this summer Tim Robbins and his band played at a music festival in my city. He plays some good bluegrass, for bluegrass that is.

  • @rickydeeman I fucking hate that self-important 'actor' - I mean, is there a less productive 'profession'? Don't reply, I'll just delete your response.

  • @hdmccart Dude, I was just saying he plays good music... No need to be shitty to me...

  • @rickydeeman Yeah. Fair enough...sorry!

  • @hdmccart It's all good! There's already enough madness on YouTube, take care!

  • Anyone think Tim Robbins and Dan Aykroyd look alike?

  • @rmhism no

  • show the whole fucking interview!

  • show the whole fucking interview!

  • In 100 years of recored video and film show me 1 true miracle. A plane dissappearing just b4 it hits a building...a child who is murdered come back to his/her parents...100 years of film...not one true mircle....BS BS BS. All it would take is one impossible thing...a re-assembled person who was blown up to pieces...but no we have to beilive on "faith" Faith = I have no logical proof

  • Stephen Hayes is a fool and a shill. He will never admit he's wrong no matter how high the mountain of contrary evidence grows. Whenever he talks you can almost see Dick Cheney's lips moving.

  • he just got shawshanked

  • @FranklinnBash Not hardly, little brain because they wouldn't listen, just kept interrupting and using emotion, a typical ad hominem ploy of totalitarian fascists.

  • wow - this Hayes guy is such a moron! thanks for posting!

  • Tim Robbins. Actor/Activist...............

  • explain away = the favorite dismissive tool of the religious right

  • opinion polls = contrived bullshit

  • part 2. Are you actually assuming that mystics have a better grasp on the nature of reality then modern day scientists? If so I strongly disagree, science is humble in that it makes no assumptions it is not emotional for it serves only to present truth as an extension of conclusive experimintation. Which is more then can be said for someone who assumes with such entitlement that the thoughts bounding around in there head are the indisputable words of a universal guiding spirit.

  • @73truthseeker I certainly hope that you in all your open minded and non judgmental nature can see the dangers of this type of thinking. A weaker man then you may feel that its the voice of god leading him to fly his plane into a building or hold up a god hates fags banner at a murder victims funeral. But I'm sure you can tell with absolute certainty the difference between your own subconscious ramblings and the voice of the divine guiding spirit.

  • Many of the unwashed masses knew that the reasons for the Iraq invasion were lies.

  • sellinglikehotcakes dotcom

  • After invading Iraq and reaching baghdad,Bush and Blair (If they had a brain between them)should have been saying ,Wait a minute ,why hasnt he pushed the 45 minute button yesterday. But of course they knew the answer the rich murderers.I call them that because of the service people killed on their behalf

  • @bonesandanne I would call them that too, but more importantly for the thousands of innocent civilians, including women, children and yes babies, who were killed on their behalf.

  • Tim Robbins has no credibility at all. Hayes is correct that Iraqi documents indicated the relationship. Just because Robbins believes it was a lie does not mean it is. The great thing about Robbins is that he no idea how idiotic he sounds.

  • @axual we had a relationship with al qaeada, the cia funded al qaeada, and we funded saddam, this government is sooo hypocritical, and even if there was a relationship, there was never any proof that saddam had anything to do with 911. the citizens in this country are easily led in the wrong direction by this government.

  • @axual Conservatives have no brains at all , And no there is NO PROOF of a relationship , we can talk about possibilities all we want , But i dont care if a scientist tells me we found aliens if he has no proof i will not believe him. Truth is conservatives Believe here-say stories like the bible , and these documents , While I believe facts and statistics . so good day

  • @axual Actually, it's you who sounds idiotic. No relationship, no Iraqi involvement in 9/11 and no weapons of mass destruction or the means to make them = a war based on total lies and propaganda. I feel sorry for you that you were fooled by Bush's propaganda. He got his war, which he always intended to start anyway, and now thousands of soldiers and thousands of civlians, including children, are dead. Congrats to the conservatards who bought this line of bullshit.

  • @leizuoer Please, spare me the diatribe. It's all very easy now, with 20/20 hindsight to make statements about Iraq. At the time, you may recall, Bush and most every country on the planet believed Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.

I agree that once we confirmed no WMD, the US should have packed up and left. I would like to see Robbins in the hot seat and have to make a real decision (other than I hate this script or my pool needs cleaning).

  • @axual Actually, most countries didn't believe Saddam had the weapons. That's why BUuh had to clobber together a bunch of ragtag nations like Palau and Nauru and Uzbekistan, to name a few, to go along with his little adventure. Your biggest ally, Britain, was dragged into the war by Tony Blair despite the fact that a majority of British citizens didn't want to go there. It's good to see you agree that there were in fact no weapons of mass destruction, anyway.

  • I guess it comes down to a simple choice really. Get busy livin, or get busy dying.

  • sorry to let you guys in on a secret, but he was shrugging them off amazingly for being in a 3 on 1 battle. he had an answer other than "just because you say a like doesnt make it true" for every single question they threw at him and was unfazed through the whole thing.

  • I know how to get people to cheer for me on this show. Just start spewing a bunch of leftist bullshit

  • Here's a connection with Al Qaeda & Iraq, they were both funded by the U.S in the 80's

  • @ViperRob42

You still think that aQ was funded by the US?

    *Sigh*

ObL was an Arab volunteer, not a member of the mujahiden (indeed, they were opposing factions).

You're just like an obnoxious member of Maher's crowd.

  • @ViperRob42 OH SNAP!!!

  • Timmy is one angry spoiled, rich, capitalist lib.

  • robbins talks about false information

later in this episode robbins said that the u.s. military had killed over 400,000 Iraqi civilians

that number is barely over 77,000

way to support your country u liberal scumbag

    wouldnt expect anything less

  • @hillbillystanley1 only 77,000, big woop

  • @1608Nikolai

im not sayin that thats not bad

in fact that is gut wrenching

im just saying hes a fucking liar which is what the majority of liberals are lol

  • False information makes comfortable excuses to bomb people in far off countries that we like to blame for our problems

  • "The WORLD!" must "WAKE-UP" and stop directing everything on to OUR governments because they are just "PUPPETS" for the true "HIDDEN PARASITES" who are orchestrating the WORLD'S DEMISE!! PLEASE... read: wake-upbeforeitstoolate(dot)com to truly understand how "The World" has been incredibly deceived by a small percentage of the World's population. Who controls the MEDIA, controls the" INFORMATION." If you want a NEW WORLD for FREEDOM... then look behind the greatest deception of the Human Race.

  • Oh yeah, I didnt know "war critics" have some evil agenda. brainless mug

  • Hayes argument: "ONE GUY said there was a connection between Hussein and Al Qaeda, so I'm right"

Everyone else: "Everyone else says there wasn't and they have proof. Oh, and there's no WMDs"

    Hayes: "But this one guy..."

  • @MagnesDrachen13 ----ONe of Husseins Generals wrote a book and indicated quite clearly that Hussien had WMD's and moved them out of the country over the 6 month period following U.N. resolution 1441. The FACT that Hussein used WMD's in the past should tell anyone with half a brain that this scumbag had them. They did find unconstituted weapons all over Iraq but dipshits like you run with the technicality. Do you have any idea how little time it would take to convert to 'constituted' WMD's. Moron

  • @jake5811

    1) Gee, you sure proved your point by needlessly insulting me. Good job.

    2) And the WMD's Hussein so OBVIOUSLY had are where now? Where did he move them to? Please enlighten me to your conjecture.

    3) "He used them in the past, so he had them later". Take a second to consider this logical fallacy. Hypothetically: I shot a cat once, I'm accused of shooting a dog this time. There's no evidence this time, but the first time should be enough. Right.

  • @MagnesDrachen13 ---1) Gee, if the shoe fits, wear it. 2) Where are they now??? In Philadelphia : ). Most of the experts believe they were moved to Syria. 3) Your logic is flawed as you assume that "evidence" was non-existent. The evidence came in the form of intelligence from other nations such as France, Germany, UK, and Russia. ALL of these countries and more believed that Hussein had them and would use them. When Clinton was in office the Senate voted unanimously for "regime change".

  • @MagnesDrachen13---- Why are we in Libya and why aren't liberals like you bitching and moaning about our presence there??? If Bush made this move he'd be getting reamed everyday by weenies like you and the media. But, since a whacked out liberal (Obama) made this call the bitching has been muted at best. Humanitarian reasons?? How about Iraq with Hussein. He was killing thousands of his own people monthly. How about the 'rape rooms' and his 2 sadistic twisted sons. Get real.

  • @jake5811

First, I'm a liberal and I AM pissed at our involvement in Libya. But I have given up on expecting Obama to be an actual progressive as he's proved he's a moderate Republican at best. And by the way, the only reason many conservatives are pissed about Libya is because a Democrat did it. If Bush was responsible for Libya too, conservatives would be on TV arguing for 100 more years there. I'm consistent, needles wars are terrible, no matter who starts them.

  • @MagnesDrachen13 ---You need to change the adjective from 'progressive' to REGRESSIVE because it is progressive/liberal policies that have placed this nation on the road to culutural & financial ruin. The downgrade by S&P today is confirmation to this assertion. Obama "moderate" my ass. Obamacare is not a conservative proposition. It is BIG government bullshit. As for Libya, you are dead WRONG. There was NO national security issues in play in this shithole. You are clueless my friend...clueless.

  • @jake5811 And let's not forget that's not how Iraq was spun to the American people. It was "Iraq has WMDs", then it was "Iraq is tied to Al Qaeda", then it was "Sadaam was a bad man" (Once we got there). It was "humanitarian war" as soon as they tricked us into the war in the first place. As much as I don't like him, at least Obama has told the same story throughout. He's wrong in his assumptions, but at least he tells one story, not three.

  • @MagnesDrachen13 ----Every one of your pals in the DEMOCRATIC party are ON RECORD stating that Hussein had and was developing WMD's. FACT. And, as mentioned earlier, many intelligence agencies from other nations believed the same thing. Hussein was connected to Al Qaida, but had NO involvement in 9/11. No one tricked anyone. You fail to place events in CONTEXT. Bush was under enormous pressure to provide security following 9/11. You are a typical liberal MONDAY AM quarterback. Very childish.

  • @jake5811 Well you're wrong on all accounts, making excuses for outright lying ("Bush was under enormous pressure...", you mean like BEING PRESIDENT ENTAILS?), and you continue the needless insults. I have not insulted you once and I refuse to allow it from your end. You're wrong, your president was wrong, your war was wrong, and history will show that. Good day.

  • @MagnesDrachen13 ----First of all, I apologize for the insults. You are correct. It is unnecessary. I just get very impatient with those who hold positions that are not grounded in fact, but rather emotion, slogans, and sound bites. Most liberals are unschooled in the FACTS and most fail to place events in CONTEXT. You are one of those. Whether going into Iraq was right or wrong, it is a grave error to maintain that Bush lied. It is simply a childish and immature assertion. The liberal way.

  • @MagnesDrachen13 When someone says something and it is later found out that it is not supported by facts, it is a lie. Not a liberal lie or a conservative lie, just a plain old lie. No WMDs, no connection to Al Qaeda, these were LIES. No context in the world makes a lie into a truth.

  • Tim Robbins is to Liberals as Lil Wayne is to black people. He just makes us look bad. What a jackass.

  • LOL Tim Robbins is such a douche bag. He'd be well advised not to call people liars if he hasn't got the bit of evidence for his slander .. #FAIL

  • @sooperfukker Maher just quoted the 9/11 commission report that supported his argument douche

  • @BigSAK88 Mate, don't even try...

What Maher did, was CLASSICAL quote mining : Chosing excerpts of what someone said to deliberately misrepresent the person's viewpoint. And Hayes pinned him down on that immediately.

But what is even worse: Even the excerpt doesn't really say what Maher thought it would say; it was clearly limited to the existence of collaborative operation between Al Kaida and Iraq. THAT'S ALL.

And the moronic audience and the douche bag Robbins feel so self justified. #FAIL

  • And it gets even worse. You can see how little Maher appreciates being caught in a lie, that's why he struggled badly . And you can be sure, at that moment, someone got fired from his staff.

And since there was nothing left to respond to after Hayes introduced the secret iraqi documents, they quickly changed the topic to WMD, evenly moronicly applauded by the audience... a RIDICULOUS MOCKERY.

  • Tim Robbins disagrees with his fake portrayal of the American people.

  • George W. Bush himself admitted no connection between Iraq and Al Qaeda.

People like this guy on the panel are the ones who say 9/11 was planned by the US and an "inside job" - Obama wants to kill grandmas everywhere - obama isn't a citizen - and on and on and on

I think it would be a sad and lonely existence to be so delusional

  • not even chuck norris would debate tim robbins

  • You just cant make sense of politics, its unpredictable and impossible to make a point true when you get down to it. Like religion.

  • so even if saddam did have a connection with al qaeda its ok to attack the country and kill nearly a million of people?

p.s word connection can mean anything, hard facts - thats what counts.

  • These people are not just "liers", they are genocidal criminals. 1 million iraqis dead. Tens of thousands of occupying troops dead.

  • so was there a connection between saddam and al-qaeda?

  • that's where i want to get my facts , a bad actor and a failed comedian. congress okayed the iraq war

  • I hope one day Bill Maher has Alex Jones on one day so he can tell these idiots what's really going on.

  • @GoodLifeGodLike Bill Maher would rip Alex Jones up and down, he's a lunatic and Maher would totally call him out on all of his lunacy.

  • I love it how in the face of overwhelming evidence, people on the losing side will cling to a single quote, as if it cancels out the rest. It's like saying, "but the Pope said God was real, so AHA!", or "the tobacco company said smoking was harmless, AHA!". Yeah, that's how evidence and debate works. It's like today, society is so dedicated to a kind of warped moral and intellectual egalitarianism in which everybody's statements are 'equal' and there's no instinct to pursue objective truths.

  • 9/11 commission can kiss my butt. they are all on the payroll of the same ppl that blew up the towers.

  • The only reason people believe in God is because they have fear of imaginary fire.... So they do the logical thing and purchase imaginary fire insurance.

  • @odensmeadhorn I agree with you except with a slight variation. I think that people believe in God because they have fear of death, and they use the stories of imaginary fire to convince each other in a similar belief system, bolstering their own faith in salvation from their fear.

  • @StevenBee2 we're both saying the same basic thing I was just using simplicity for humours sake.

  • @odensmeadhorn very well put. I'm gonna use that...cheers!

  • Bush deserves to go on trail for that war. Saddam hated AL-Qaeda, he was an Arab nationalist a complete and utter different ideology to that of Al-Qaeda. He felt threatened by Al-Qaeda and the only link that was ever found was that of Abu Ayyub al-Masri and he was from Iraq in the first place. Hope Bush knows he sent soldiers to die just so he could get some oil.

  • Americans might be interested to know that in the U.K. who went into Iraq with the U.S. no one tries to suggest Iraq had any connection with Al Qaeda. We know this is absurd.

  • @WillShakespeare2007 Dont blame the people, blame our society here in America.

  • @K0sm1cKid - I was simply stating that in the U.K. not even the most pro war politicians or media ever tried to claim an Iraq/Al Qaeda connection. We were told the war was about weapons of mass destruction only.

I don't know how much attention it got in the U.S. but our government scientist who was made to make the claim of weapons of mass destruction went to the media. He said he had been told to fake the claim. He was found dead a few days later having committed "suicide." Scary stuff.

  • @WillShakespeare2007 most of the country here has mixed feelings, but Im a teen in America where anarchy is the preferred politic by the youth, unfortunately I dont get an accurate side of political views.

  • Andy dufrane, a man who crawled through a mile of shit and came out clean on the other side....

  • @spore0808 because it was raining

  • @Cryoniclime yeah exactly

  • with all of the civil unrest against oppressive regimes in the middle east and northern africa, do you think that maybe the people have iraq may have ousted Saddam themselves wihout western assistance?

  • @frostytheaussie ----Perhaps Iraq's new freedoms may have influenced these uprisings. Until Saddam's ouster the people of Iraq lived under a totatitarian and brutal regime. Today, thanks to US intervention the Iraqi people now have a voice in governance. This just might have an appeal to those in Tunisia, Syria, Egypt, Libya, etc. Why do all you childish douchebags insist on making the USA the bad guys? I guess you all found Hussein to be a Cub Scout.

  • @jake5811 Perhaps...just not according to the people engaged in the uprisings...or the US government. You're really going out on a limb with that one.

  • @mcnesta80 ----Who knows for certain what is going on in that whacked out part of the world. Muslims are goofy and they are currently involved in 90% of the wars going on globally today. It is a very dangerous religion where there is no room for religious tolerance outside of Islam. It is a global concern. As for Iraq, you would not see what is going on in Egypt, Tunisia, or Syria going in if Saddam were in power. He controlled a very loyal military which would have crushed any insurrection.

  • @jake5811 fucking moron, the fundamentaist 'Merkan Taliban Xtains are responsible for 90% of the fucking wars on this planet...asshole, also

  • @oneirishpoet ---Do you kiss your mommy with that potty mouth of yours ace?

  • @jake5811 To continue. I was only in 5th grade when 9/11 happened. I do remember it vividly but at that time even if I could think for myself in the political realm enough, scaring me into war with Iraq by saying that if we don't they'll basically end up bombing our cities with nuclear warheads is a fear campaign whether you like it or not. A fear campaign to rally the troops to a noble cause (what we thought we were doing) and upon after the fact REFLECTION upon the events and actuality of Ira

  • @Mstrjedi1852 -As I stated, you lack CONTEXT. Your suggestion that the engagement with Iraq was no more than a knee-jerk reaction catalyzed by fear is childish and absurd. 1) At no time in our nations history were we attacked within our borders costing us 3,000 innocent lives. 2) At no time did the U.S. engage in a war with such an unconventional enemy. 3) Hussein used WMD's, every intelligence service around the globe thought he had them, he supported terror & could supply terrorists (continue)

  • @jake5811 You may have missed my argument's point. I never said we shouldn't have taken Hussein out of power. We should have. I think that how we did it was well done. I never said Hussein didn't commit crimes. He did. I merely think that we, the American people, in our heightened emotions after 9/11 were steered to fear and patriotism to Iraq so Bush Jr. could finish dad's work (good) and get rich off oil (bad), ruin our economy (bad) to stop a sadistic man (good) but didn't have WMD's. cont

  • @Mstrjedi1852 ---"so Bush Jr. could finish dad's work"??? Huh??? How old are you? 10 or under?? Bush senior in Desert Storm did precisely what he promised when forming the coalition. In and OUT. If this was all about oil as you children insist then the USA would have taken Iraqi oil fields following the 1st Gulf war. It did not happen, and here is some BIG NEWS, it ain't happening now you idiot. The other countries did know, and we believed he had them. Intel is not failsafe. Grow up pal.

  • @jake5811 Looking at the net worth of Bush's advisors and cabinet members and Bush himself. The only hard evidence found just lets us know that over his presidency, they got much richer. Sometimes ten or twenty-fold than their salaries would indicate. Either they robbed banks, or maybe they invested in the oil companies they knew would start doing well once we got hold some black gold. Do I know they controlled Iraqi oil? No. Does that theory corroborate with the evidence yes.

  • @Mstrjedi1852 ---"over his presidency, they got much richer" PROVE IT asshole. Give me your reference for this crap. You say you have "hard evidence", let's hear it. Provide a LINK. The only thing I see that is provable is your imagination. The only evidence you have is something you extracted from your rectum.

  • @Mstrjedi1852 You think that's just from Iraq? The tax cuts alone were significant.

  • @jake5811 Speaking of News. Unless you were fucking there, you gather the information from the news as well. I understand the news can be wrong, but I take what facts I know to be facts and think for myself. Do you think the News reporter would be standing outside an oil refinery going, "Here we see the U.S. seizing oil reserves..."? I can't say you are wrong. And I cannot KNOW I am right in this because there's no way of really knowing anymore. I think what I think. I'm done talking to you

  • @jake5811 The US have tried to make it happen actually, and are being blocked by the Iraqi government. It wasn't just about oil. Yes, it was about spreading democracy and American exceptionalism. It was also about establishing a military base in Iraq so they could remove the one in Saudi Arabia. It was also about finishing Bush snr's work, the neo-cons argued as much before 2000. The finishing Dad's work goes hand in hand with the democracy and US mythology point. WMD? You need to grow up pal.

  • @jake5811 Also. I do not know for fact that the other world countries knew for a fact he had WMD's either. We thought he did. It seems to me if the other countries thought so, why did no other country come take him down either sooner or cooperatively? Also. Even though we thought he had WMD's, why not just say we think he may have them? Bush's administration told us that they KNEW FOR A FACT that he had them. So they lied. (bad).

  • @Mstrjedi1852--he violated 17 U.N. resolutions including 1441 which he had 6 months (is this knee jerk?) to respond positively and did not, 4) Unconventional wars necessitate unconventional strategies and tactics, 5) When Clinton was President every SENATOR in Congress voted for regime change in Iraq BEFORE 9/11, 6) Hussein had a lot of money and would be more than willing to supply al Qaida with weaponry, 7) Iraq had ties to al Qaida, etc. CONTEXT, CONTEXT, CONTEXT, not fear.

  • @jake5811

You speak of context. I know this word and understand it's important in terms of reflection of history. We were afraid as a nation. Fear though can be a strength at times is undoubtedly the enemy of rational thought. Not just a clever statement. It's biologically true. When our oversized adrenal glands start pumping, it's Fight Or Flight. Do take note you troll that Think isn't one of those options. It's one thing to say that Iraq is possibly acquiring the materials for the assemblin

  • The title of this should be Bill Maher does a number on Stephen Hayes while Tim Robbins stutters like a blubbering idiot. Tim's a good actor but he's not the most articulate political debater.

  • @jazzy1260 ---It's hard to be articulate about a subject when you know little to nothing about it and all you are doing is REACTING EMOTIONALLY to a set of circumstances. Robbins is a loser and Maher is an asshole.

  • I do agree that we were fear campaigned into that war but we are no better than rational logic bashing idiots like fox news when they have atheist or liberal guests. Let the man speak his case and calmly refute it. When everyone's shouting and the crowd gets into it. We don't look any more credible than the liars do.

  • @Mstrjedi1852 --Point out ONE LIE that you have seen anyone on Fox News promulgate you dipshit. "Fear campaigned" my ass. Morons like you fail to take all that occurred between 2001--2003 in CONTEXT. You only see one or two pieces of the total puzzle like that fatshit Moore and fill in the blanks with your own moronic predilections and leftist biases. Fox is the Number 1 cable network for a reason. It was also voted as the most reliable and truthful network in all of television. So stuff it pal.

  • Crooks & Liars site authors and participants are themselves crooks & liars....and child molesters.

  • The ADULT in this stupid video is Stephen Hayes. Robbins, Maher, and that moronic black woman are children. Hayes correctly stated that there was definite linkage between Hussein and Al Qaida. That is a CERTAINTY, and that is what Hayes was arguing. The other dopes were debating linkage between Hussein and 9/11 and Hayes was not making that argument. This is what happens when an intelligent conservative is jumped on by 3 whacked out libs and a TOTALLY CLUELESS audience of Maher family members.

  • @jake5811 bottom line America lied to their people and the world to invade Iraq in an illegal war for control of resources. If your gonna defend that your an idiot.

  • @smithy2306 ----Nobody lied to anybody Smithy. Come on, try to be objective about this. U.S. intel, and also intel from France, Germany, UK, and Russia all reported that Hussein had WMD's. He had already used them on his own people, so it would not be hard to imagine that he still had them. He ignored numerous U.N. resolutions, was financially backing terror in the region, had links to Al Qaida, etc. Finally, has the USA taken control of Iraq oil fields. NO. NO. NO. Be real Smithy. Be honest.

  • @jake5811 sorry Jake your completely wrong and I am not gonna waste my time arguing with you because we won't end up agreeing. Peace

  • @smithy2306 ---I understand Smithy. You do not want the FACTS to get in the way of your emotions. It is precisely your mindset that has enabled people like Saddam Hussein. In all of this you have failed to recognize that a very evil man has been eliminated and the nation of Iraq is now being governed by a democratically formed government. The people in Iraq have participated in OPEN ELECTIONS. But, this means nothing to an intellectually dishonest cretin like you. You are pathetic.

  • @jake5811 haha please don't make me laugh. My mind is clear and I don't have to go insulting somebody because I am insecure about my beliefs. Oh yes and facts should always be backed up by primary sources and references, wheres yours? Go look up the Brookings Institutes arab opinion polls which show that arabians believe the U.S. is the greatest threat in the region and that a nuclear armed Iran would make them safer. So your helping the Iraq people rhetoric is utter nonsense.

  • @smithy2306 ---You dodged the challenge as I thought you might. You have no basis for challenging the FACTS I provided. You're an empty suit pal. Can you deny Hussein used WMD's on his own people? This is old history. Can you deny that he ignored 17 U.N. violations including 1441 which demaned that he open his borders to U.N. inspectors. This is FACT. You got zip. The rest of your comment is so patently stupid it merits no response. You want Iran to go nuclear?? You are a MORON.

  • @jake5811 dodged what exactly?? Give me some FACTS! You say all these nations intelligence agencies had 'reports' of wmds. What the fuck good are reports?? If you want to invade a country then get some concrete evidence. I never said i wanted Iran to go nuclear but thats the opinion of the arab people that the U.S. are the biggest threat to them. I think they have more right to have an opinion to what goes on in their region than you or I do. Also, their opinion is first hand.

  • @smithy2306 ---You really are an adolescent. Any ADULT (which would not include you) knows that intelligence gathering is not an exact science. FACT. How much more CONCRETE can it be when you have a psychopath like Hussein (whom you seem to defend for some bizarre reason) who had USED WMD's on his own people, had violated 17 UN resolutions (which you seem to ignore), was supporting terror in the region (which you dismiss), was linked to Al Qaida, etc. You come up with some stupid survey. Growup!

  • @jake5811 Im not defending Saddam. Im saying the U.S. government lied to their country to stage an ILLEGAL war which is accepted worldwide. Stupid survey?? That tells me you are completely clueless, just another American who bends over and gets shafted on command. I feel sorry for you. The U.S. also used WMDs incase you forgot. They are there for the oil, if that wasn't the case they would be in Africa, Korea, China, South America and any other place where dictators rule. Fool

  • @smithy2306 -Wow, so many INCORRECT comments, and all in one sentence. You are a real tool. "U.S. Government lied", really, when? "ILLEGAL war", really? how so? And, if it was "illegal" then why wasn't ANYONE in the Bush admin. indicted? "They are there for oil", Really? If we were in this for oil then why did we not simply occupy Iraq in 1991 after the first Gulf War and take their oil fields??? Why have we not taken control of their oil fields today? The other DICKtators do not support terror.

  • @jake5811 terror?? Define terror you prick. Now I am pissed off with you, your stupidity has no bounds. No one was indicted because thats what the U.S. gets away with, its fucking sick and the whole world can see it. No other country in the world would get away with this let alone go through with it. If you hadn't been fucking around in the middle east since the 50s I doubt this wouldn't have happened. Your full of shit, just another brainwashed american fool.

  • @smithy2306 --I notice you had no response to my retort regarding the war being all about oil. You are a moron and you should be pissed off that you have such a tiny grasp of the facts and of the big picture. Congress gave Bush the green light to proceed in Iraq, and the U.N. tried with 1441 to get Saddam to open his country to inspectors. He had 6 months to act. He did not, so Bush did. You are such a Monday morning quarterback. You have very little understanding of the CONTEXT of events.

  • I see I am not the only one your giving shit to in this section. Don't you think its funny that all these videos on youtube that tell whats really going on have far more people liking them than disliking them? Welcome to the information age jakey, the U.S. government won't continue to get away with what it has gotten away with in the future. Its a war for resources, terror is just a pretense, and any war for resources is unjust. Get educated you fool and open your eyes. The U.S. is in.....

  • ... trillions of debt, has a terrible poverty rate, has a woeful unemployment rate, one of the worst health care systems in the industrialised world and has fought more wars than any other nation since world war 2. you do the math! all backed by big business that runs the U.S. you are completely blind and its about time people like you wake up and see whats going on. Oh and the war was illegal in the eyes of the UN and the UN Charter according to Kofi Annan. Wake up!!

  • @smithy2306 ---One final question: Can you name ONE of the FACTS that I cited that is "wrong", and please provide a corroborating source??? HINT: You will be unable to do so which renders your stupid comment quite lame. OPINIONS are like assholes, everyone has one. And, in your case, you are one.

  • where's the ownage? Did you just not pay attention at 1:46 to 1:56?

  • Comment removed

  • @MrWessley1 So you would have liked for Obama to pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan the second he took office? Obama was doing what the right wing wanted by keeping our troops fighting and he gets no credit for it. If we resurected Reagan and dressed him up like Obama the right wing would still shit all over him. Where is the praise for Obama giving the go ahead on more offshore drilling? If you can say one good thing about Obama then maybe his supporters wouldn't have to defend him so fervently.

  • @chargersblowify --OK, here is ONE GOOD THING I will say about Obama. No, make that TWO GOOD THINGS. One, he is BLACK. Now, that is a huge asset and one of his definite pluses. It is great to see that a black man (or woman) can become president. Unfortunately, it was this particular black man. A total incompetent. And, I do mean TOTAL. The second GOOD THING is he looks great in a suit. Quite dapper. He is a dapper incompetent and NEVER EVER should have been elected. No credentials or experience.

  • @jake5811 U clearly think ur funny but the only thing thats funny is how the irony of ur answer was clearly lost on you... When u cant say a single good thing about sum1 then it only displays the fact that ur judgement is clouded by hatred. I can say Hitler was a very good organizer and an amzing public speaker but you cant even say those things about ur own president. Think deep down (dont hurt urself) is Obama really as bad as you say he is or is ur judgement clouded. i alrdy know ur answer...

  • @chargersblowify ---No, my judgment on Obama is based SOLELY on his 'vision of America', his policies, and his blatant narcissism. While in office the moron has quadrupled the deficit after whining for 2 years during his campaign about Bush's deficit spending. He has added 4.5 TRILLION to the national debt in 2 years which is more than the first 100 CONGRESSES in TOTAL. He has isolated and embarrassed our allies while SUCKING UP to our enemies. Other than these things, he is just peachy.

  • @jake5811 u need a lesson in economics.... stats like "more thatn the first 100 conresses" are what i like to call stupid and meaningless stats. Clearly with inflation just about any deficit will look massive in comparison to prior congresses. Of that 4.5 trillion 3trillion was inherited. Ya Obama is responsible for 1.5 tril after getting one of the worst economies in history. Am i happy about that? NO. But i can at least acknowledge that blaming everything on Obama is just stupid...

  • @chargersblowify --Kiss my ass pal. You need a lesson in history. Obama inherited a mess but during his tenure he has turned it into a COSMIC mess. And, the 4.5 TRILLION is ADDED debt. Check out the stats on any government website. "worst economies in history"??? Again, pure CRAP. Take a look at unemployment while Bush AND the Republican congress held both houses from 2000 to 2006, and then observe that stat since the Dems and Obama have controlled spending. The only thing stupid here is you.

  • @jake5811 Ya ur right what was I thinking... of course its all obamas fault! I have a blister on my foot FUCK THAT GUY!!!

  • @chargersblowify ----I think that blister is on your cerebellum, not your foot.

  • @jake5811 BTW the debt has increased 3.7trillion under obama most of which would have occured no matter who was in office since the deficit was at 500billion and rapidly climbing. Unemployment is also another number that was dropping fast when obama took office. These things dont happen instantly, when the economy is falling first all you can do is stop the bleeding before you can start to see things get better. U just dont like obama and will manipulate any facts u can to make him look bad...

  • @chargersblowify -----You are not a student of the game pal, so whipping your sorry ass in a debate on this topic is a walk in the park. Your idol claimed with certainty that his 800 billion dollar stimulus plan would keep unemployment under 8%. He got his stupid stimulus and all it did was add another near trillion to the national debt, and where is unemployment today Einstein? Obama is a clown. He is a house of cards and you are a moron for failing to see who he is with clarity.

  • @jake5811 Obama said what he had been told by the CBO. Any "student of the game" would know that... The stimulus if u can call it that was almost half tax cuts pushed in by republicans who then voted against it... Ur a member of a dying race called republicans. Its ok though when ur walking down the street past planned parenthood and the church where 2 gay ppl are getting married at least ull be able to go home and jerk it to pictures of reagan.

  • @chargersblowify ----Bullshit. Obama made his claim to sell his stupid non-stimulus which only added another TRILLION to the national debt. As for the Repubs, they have screwed up and that is why they were ousted in 2006. The Republicans are a "dying race"??? Got news. It's a political party not a race. You're an idiot. Gay marriage is a joke and so is Planned Parenthood. And, so are you. IT is nutjobs who think like you which has this nation in deep shit financially. CLUELESS.

  • @jake5811 Do you really think Obama just pulled the number 8% out of his ass? Use ur small brain and think hard.. He was told the unemployment numbers wouldnt drop below 8% by people who grossly underestimated the damage to the economy. Please point to legislation that killed jobs instead of being a moron who thinks "were losing jobs and obama is in office therfor it must be his fault!" The fact is the stimulus WAS terrible. It should NOT have contained tax cuts but pure infrastructure projects.

  • @chargersblowify ---Obama spent his entire campaign bitching about the deficit that Bush had incurred. And, he was correct. Bush and the Repubs spent money like Democrats. So, what does Obama do? In the span of 2 1/2 years he QUADRUPLES the deficit, and adds 4.5 TRILLION to the national debt. The unemployment rate in 2008 was 5.8% and today it is 9.2% with no relief in sight. The country lost its AAA credit rating for the first time in history. Yep, Obama is a real gem. Too bad you get to vote.

  • @jake5811 Please point to one specific policy that increased unemployment. BTW i cant vote im canadian. A country that is far to the left of the USA yet still we maintain our AAA rating and an unemployment of 7.2%. Hmmm.

  • @chargersblowify --Canadian? Perfect. Consider this amigo. In 2008 the USA and Canadian economies were both tanking at the same rate due largely to interdependence. Policy example?? Obama opted to jam through his big Government (Keynesian) 800 billion $ 'stimulus plan', and also INCREASED regulations on businesses. Canada LOWERED corporate income taxes, reduced regulatory pressures, lowered personal income taxes, and it has yielded a healthy economy. We could learn from you. Kinda ironic eh bud?

  • @jake5811 Thats straight BS spending money doesnt kill jobs... and if you knew anything about canadian politics ud know we passed our own stimulus that was more effective because it involved less tax cuts and MORE infrastructure spending. Also canada has the advantage of spending 6% less of our GDP on healthcare yet we managae to give ALL of our citizens care. If health care reform had been to a single payer system the USA would be better off. Its too bad corporate profits are more important.

  • @chargersblowify You really are an idiot. But, I am sure your health care system can address your idiocy. BIG GOVERNEMENT ENTITLEMENTS in this nation (Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid) are TRILLIONS and TRILLIONS of dollars IN DEBT. Financially we are sinking faster than your IQ and that is why S&P lowered our credit rating the other day. And, now morons like you suggest we add ANOTHER hand out which will further sink us into the abyss. You want mommy to take care of you despite the cost.

  • @jake5811 Do some fucking research ffs...

2009 health care costs by percentage of GDP

    USA 17.4%

    Canada 11.4%

Why are you defending a system in which you're spending 6% more of ur GDP on health care and getting virtually the same results? Its not about giving people a handout its about saving money you fucking tard.

  • @chargersblowify ----You did NOTHING to refute my point that BIG GOVERNMENT programs in existence TODAY are bankrupting this nation. Comparing health care expenditures is irrelevant to the BIG POINT. We are drowning in debt because of ENTITLEMENTS. Health under OBAMACARE is another entitlement that the NONPARTISAN CBO has already determined will cost ADDITIONAL TRILLIONS. You're a punk who only sees 2 pieces of the puzzle and draws inane and childish conclusions.

  • @jake5811 Let me spell it out for you since you clearly cant figure shit out for urself... With a single payer system there would be NO MEDICARE OR MEDICAID these are litterally the worst way you can go about health care spending. Right now the government is giving money to individuals instead of using the power of the collective. Like i said b4 u need a lesson in economics.

  • @chargersblowify And you still havent addressed the fact that every indusrialized country that is using a single payer system is spending less on health care. Its just a fact. You can rant and rave all you want it doesnt change the fact that the usa spends more on healthcare than anyone yet is getting average results.

  • @chargersblowify the countries which have a single payer system have much fewer people than the US and their people also live under a different system....they work fewer hours, watch less TV, exercise more, and eat better....if want a single payer system then we have to target poverty too and people will unfortunately have to start exercising here in the US....you can't sit down, eat junk food, smoke, watch TV and demand that technology save you when it's too late and that your taxes pay for it.

  • @luv4knowledge Ya ur right lifestyle plays a big role in americas health care costs. In canada alcohol is roughly twice as expensive and cigaretts are almost 3 times more expensive. Its irresponsible for the government to not collect enough money in tax revenue to at least counter balance the damage these substances cause.

  • @chargersblowify Wow really? Yeah the tax on cigs keep going up here in the US too and it's actually having an effect, the biggest thing to combat is direct advertising to teens, because that's how they're hooking the next generation, but fat tobacco always
