  • his microphone is attached to it.

  • Hi Geriatric 1927 your voice is perfect for listening to. Keep the uploads coming, this is the net at it best!

  • Very nice music at the end! I love it! (honestly)

I'm sure I've heard that story before, but I can not recall where for the life of me. Anyway, I enjoyed watching you read it a lot. Listening or watching people read stories is often very enjoyable, so thanks!

  • I have to say as childern we learn tools and thoughts to get us by in life and it's Up to the person to take these tools and thoughts with us on are lifes path that we wish to keep with till days end.

In short You Forget what you want to forget

  • wts ur problem with this guy, have some respect

  • Wonderful to listen to your thoughts.

  • <hugs> I have never had a grandfather before and hearing you tell your stories makes up for that a little. Thank you for reading to us your beautiful story!

  • As always thank you Peter for that story.

Peter in your next edition , can you please relate more of your life.

  • Greetings from Newfoundland Canada!!

  • Very interesting story peter :)

  • Lovely story, Peter!

  • Thank you for being real. There is hope in this world as long as there are people as special as you.

  • What a wonderful story! I really loved it. I shall view your other videos promptly...

  • I was a bit late finding you. I have now finished viewing all of your videos Peter, they are wonderful. I am anxiously awaiting your next one....Grandpa.

  • very touching

  • Hey, Pete! You write? I write too! Good observation on child knowing more than parents think. God bless!

    Nicole

  • good story. you could make it into a scene from a play!

  • He might be too nice to tell you off, but I'm not. I suggest you go fuck yourself, firmly. People like him know more about life than anybody I'm sure you've ever spoken with (case in point), and perhaps you should view more of his videos and learn something from them rather than diss, since your parents are obviously not doing their job.

Anyways, keep up the great work. It's nice seeing someone older embracing technology rather than shying away from it as many people do these days.

  • An artist eh! What about that hideous wallpaper?

  • Oh god Peter, you made me feel that i'm living this story, you were so affecting while reading it.. and i want to say something, i think everyone must keep that child part with him, it will make him relax and think in a better way about his problems and these stuff..

and sometimes you feel that you could be a friend to child more than to an adult..

keep stories like these coming please Peter..

    have good times.

  • Good story dooodle!

  • so so true about art through the eyes of a child. Do you think it would ever be possible for society to come full circle and we all go back to togas and philosophy or something? Maybe I'm a dreamer. If I had had a father I think I would have been very lucky to have a gentleman such as yourself. Thank you for kicking Hitler's ass, by the way!!

  • You are very talented in your story telling, Peter, if I may call you Peter. I enjoy so many of your vids, many with a tear in my eye. P.S. I wish the full circle would close before my time ends with great phisolophers and togas as shiprekk.

  • great stuff.

I think that you should think about publishing some of your stories on your website i am sure many of us would love to read them.

  • i was bored while watching this

  • Fantastic as per usual Peter :)

  • such a cool guy

  • I was seeing Mary in hospital and could see all the characters. Wonderful thing the imagination. Many writers bore the reader with detail, but much can be said about those that can let us use our minds freely.

  • w00t...peter...if i had money...i'd ask you to do an audio book..infact...lemme PM you on your site

  • Such a great story Peter! Wonder why our children don't want us to mention them. Funny isn't it. You are such a pleasure to listen too! Mr. & Mrs. Geezerart

  • I like how 'junkie' is the last word of the story :]

  • 36000 subs jesus... good job

  • Grovey! Wonderful Peter!

    :)

  • Charles Dickens has nothin' on Geriatric1927.

    That story... wow. GREAT stuff.

  • charming!

  • thank you for that. your grandson is very talented. i hope he learns that you shared this with all of us and how we liked it. after watching you i always feel uplifed and relaxed

  • Hello. I like your vids. You have some great opinions. Thas' cool. <3

  • Masterful how few words evoke the scenes. Thank you.

  • your one of the best youtuber i have ever seen! your now my role model i wanna be as cool as you one day!

  • You're inspirational, dude.

  • Great! new Charles Dickens IMO

  • STFU wanker. If you have nothing better to do than insult people over the internet, you need to get a life. This is a guy sharing his feelings and experiences, something that you have not done in a month of being on YouTube. In fact, you have made no videos at all. It wouldn't be so bad if you didn't call people for making them.

  • That was wonderful. I'm touched.

  • Wonderful as always! I love your stories. The music at the end is always great! I have actually bought some of the stuff you've played. They are people I would have never known about. Thanks!

  • Keep it up please Geriatric1927 - u ROCK!!!

  • There's more TIME than Life.

(a known surfrace in mexico )

    .-)

  • you have a good voice fro narration i like this voice of your and so does my girly rach!:)

  • you are goood i like you

  • I'm sure we could find an editor or someone who would edit them for you, if you want to take this further. I would be happy to help you in anyway I can.

    Take Care.

    Health & Happiness

    Regards & Best Wishes,

    Andy

  • great as always and top blues at the end

  • you sir are whats called "living history" A book or movie has nothing on you. we can all learn so much from your life to help ours. thank you sir god bless

  • These You Tube "stars" ...Renetto, Geriatric1927, DigitalSoul, bo3em3, Smosh, Lonelygirl15 etc... don't care about the little guy starting here. I tried nicely to contact most of them. They never replied. They think they are too big now... well, I represent the little people, and I will help all the new people. I know I am going to be heard, and so is everyone with me on this. We will not ignore the little people...we will start a new community without racism, hate and disrespect.

  • Can't speak for any of the "stars", but they probably get more messages than they can read, let alone reply to.

  • While I agree with you about the "stars",Peter is the exception. He replies to as many as possible, but no way could he reply to all. I have a hard time replying to my 50 subscribers..much less thousands..wow. Peter is real. I think he just trusted a couple of people that he shouldnt have who were after his fame and money. You all know who I am talking about. Peace.

  • We BOTH know who you're talking about and you're very wrong. I think you should know a person before you make rude judgments like that.

  • Okay Peter, just thought it odd that's all.

  • A reminder, I am trying to straighten out You Tube. I might not be at the top now, but when I am, I will not forget who helped me and who didn't.

  • (shrug) maybe if your videos were any good...

  • You Tube allows this? This was posted on that freak Renetto's site. Renetto and this guy need to be banned. You Tube Community? With all this racism? I figure of all people, Peter here will let this message go through... here's copy and pasted post: ShooterMcGavin (44 minutes ago)

actually faggots niggers dont belong on youtube. they belong in fucking cotton fields. piece of shit useless monkeys. cancer to society faggots.

  • I was so happy to see you had a new video tonight. The story was wonderful. I wish I had the book. You are just great. I'm 73 so you are a contemporary. I'm just so happy to have had the opportunity to know your work.

  • I love you and your stories! Always a pleasure to listen to.

  • I love to draw, i find very relaxing.

  • that reminds me of one time when i was in middle school, and one of my teachers brought in a drawing of a house that his young daughter had drawn. he passed it around and told us to find what was wierd about it. finally i realized that she had drawn doors in the second story. if she had drawn it "correctly," she wouldn't have shown the doors, but she wasn't trying to draw how a house looks, she was trying to draw a house, and houses have doors, even if you can't see them from outside.

  • arsehole (english term meaning asshole)

  • mu301nh~~I watched your 'night time' video, a minute of it anyway, to see what kind of a person posts these kinds of comments. In that 'blog' you talk about all the spam you had. Well chap, you get what you give; that's my theory.

  • my comment was not directed to anyone apart from hellion exciter. which was the comment i replied to.

  • you should sell your book!

  • Just want to reiterate the sentiments of Carlislecockney. He voiced what all of your loyal subscribers feel.

  • I loved the music, both the classical and the classic blues. I was momentarily confused when I saw BB King's face, but then I saw your reply. :-) What I like is that your choice of music really fit the story. You're quite good at that.

Thanks for a lovely visit. I look forward to the next time!

  • Awesome. When i get it finished i'll email you a copy. Hopefully the graphic part will flow into the story and make it better. I try not to write porn. ^.^

  • I liked the story.I think it speaks alot about people.

Do you know the artist's name yet? I'd love to see if I could listen to more of Blues.. haven't really ever, but I think it'd be extremely neat to listen to something before my generation..I wish more people my age would think the same.

  • This was a perfect answer to a bad day. I closed my eyes and saw it all. xoxoxoxox

  • Thank you. I love your presence and charisma.

    God bless you

  • Yup, that's Memphis Slim, alright. Wonder if we could find someone to write us a YouTube Blues? Damn sure sounds like we could use that right now.

  • Great story peter, thanks for sharing. Out of interest have you published your book or is it strictly your own. It could make a considerable sum either for yourself / your family or a charity. Worth thinking about Peter. I know an Author who published a book through a self publish company in London (if your interested).

    Take Care.

    Health & Happiness

    Regards & Best Wishes,

    Andy

  • Thanks for another story! I told you once Dolly could read me the phone book and I'd listen.. Your there too.

  • you should sell your book..i would buy it for sure

  • He is such a smart man & nice person- I can't understand how anyone could be hateful to him!

I guess we'll all have to make a point of checking out LV, if just to see him! :)

Thanx for everything, Peter! You are a gem!

    Peace,

    Teresa :)

  • How kind of you to say that, I will still be around YouTube watching and commenting occasionally, especially here on Peter's channel. Thank you SO MUCH for those kind words. -Hugs, Mike

  • your my favorite person on youtube, i salute you sir for what you do

  • That was good, but it was sad also. You are an interesting fellow.:)

  • Absolutely divine. I have always enjoyed your work.

  • Hello Peter, this is my first video of yours, but not the last! Thank you. I wish they banned fill-in color books in school.

  • always great man :) 13 minutes of my day to tune out the world. you know how poeple say some foods are comfort foods that make them relaxe, well for someodd reason ur like my comfort vlogs x.x if that makes sense i dont know...forget that lol keep'm comin pls :)

  • Nice little story. However, just for the record, in case anyone is watching :D ... a girl does not have to be 'forgiven' for giving a child to adoption. It is a very difficult, selfless act of love, when she does it knowing her child will have a better life. (I am grateful that am the recipient of that much love.)

  • Thanks Peter and yes you are an artist.

  • Tender story from a tender man. Thank you for sharing this, Peter, and please, share another one day?

  • I just realised you're the same age as Roger Moore.

  • Thanks Peter, once again. I loved the story, and you've introduced me to blues music - I rather like it. Please post again very soon - I watch eagerly for your videos.

  • Bloody hell, that was quite good. I see your views on the way children think, but we are brainwashed by education for a reason. You see what children draw, and while I'll admit it can be interesting to analyze how they think, the majority of drawings seem utterly meaningless. Education gives those children a useful purpose, surely.

  • What a tender story that was. Thankyou for sharing. Also the music was great. hugs, Chris :)

  • Another great video Peter. Thanks x

  • great story even thoe i havent even watched all of it yet

  • GREAT STUFF PETER

  • Peter, That was awsome . Thanks so much . The music is great also . DianeMarie.

    -Phil

  • keep up the realy good videos its just not adults that watch this kids also aswel

  • Awesome story Peter. ^.^ That reminds me, i should finish my story that i've been working on for quite some time. It is a bit more graphic however so i probably won't be reading it allowed. If you would like to see a copy of it when i'm done let me know and i'd be happy to let you read it. ^.^

  • Your contributions add greatly to the quality of youtube!

  • Insightful as usual peter,thanks again =]

  • That was a great story Peter as usual , you tell things so well I look forward to your videos, till next time take care of yourself and God Bless.

    -anna

  • Great story and music. Thank you Peter.

  • STORY-TIME again!

I really like the end of the story. it is very touching and i think that mary would be very happy to see that her son, turned out so well and that he wasn't embarrassed to come to the funeral. The story is a good piece of literature =)

    Thanks Peter

  • Wonderful. Great bible reference from I Cor 13:11.

  • Geriatric fights crime in thongs. FACT.

  • great video

  • I completely love this. This (while not being like your other videos) was an excellent idea. If I were a teacher I would consider putting this on the overhead. (Yeah, nowadays most classrooms have computer video projectors, which makes that concept very easy now.) It's the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this. We used to be read to by various people when I was young. There is a certain comfort that comes with your voice and the stories you share. Thank you again

  • The Photo at the end is BB King. Enjoy your stories...

  • Excellent Story. I really enjoyed it. Great Work ^.^

  • As usual... WONDERFUL! Thanks Peter!

  • lovely!

  • One thing that made Piccasso so famous what the fact that he accually wanted to paint as a child, and succseded quite well

  • thank you, friend melinda

  • Good to see that you stay above the fray and all the self serving stuff that Argent and others seem to care about. I always enjoy your videos. I enjoy the stories about your own life more than the stories..but I could listen to you all day my friend.

  • Great story peter! Keep it up

    TJ

  • I loved the story, and the song was great; excellent work as always. ^.^

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • You're my favorite on YouTube!!!!

  • I was expecting a comment on Argent's video about leaving :s. Have you not seen it yet, or do you feel it not appropriate?

  • Great story Peter, thank you very much

  • Just had something like this happen in my own family tree in the last year. Good story.
