For a while, I didn't know who made this song. Judging by the bass riff, I originally thought it was actually a guitar riff made with lommi-styled metal tipped fingers.

Then I learned about Tool and the rest is history! ;{D

I'm more of a heavy metal guy, All That Remains is probably my favorite band (well the Who as well, but not the point) but I absolutely the drums in this and the intro......I absolutely love it, a nice subtle bass into an amazing song.

i think its one of those guitars where it has the tuning head at the bottom instead of having a entire head stock. i dont think he uses it schism but, if you watch reflection live, he has it there too.
